Stupid Jason Doing Stupid Things
Jason Rimbaud commented on Jason Rimbaud's story chapter in Stupid Jason Doing Stupid Things
I know I wouldn't have had the willpower to stop in the middle of a BJ. But then maybe he knows Konstantin is playing both sides against the middle. Jason might be doing the only thing he can think to protect himself. -

Oh you don't want to come slumming to my side of the street. Because whatever you thought sports ball teams means, I assure you we meant it way worse! -

Jason needs something? But addicts need to hit bottom a few times before they can emerge as a butterfly. -
One Confused Gay Boy
Jason Rimbaud commented on Jason Rimbaud's story chapter in One Confused Gay Boy
Thank you Chris. Well through his journal, Jason keeps those parts back, though he describes the emotion he felt at the time. It seems like he tries to keep it secret from the reader, who is his therapist Susan. his journal is his homework that they then discuss in their weekly sessions. -
Stupid Jason Doing Stupid Things
Jason Rimbaud commented on Jason Rimbaud's story chapter in Stupid Jason Doing Stupid Things
He does seem to like straight boys and all that comes with it. In the parts I didn’t include, he goes into great detail about another straight boys and the fallout from that messed up hidden relationship that lasted five years. jason is a mess -

I thought his attempt at ignoring the bastard was valiant, but his refusal to leave ended up costing him a slap and tickle with his crush. At least at the end he wised up. -

I’m not sure I would have done the same if I was in his place. But Jason seemed to have tried to protect himself. We’ll see how well he success. -
Stupid Jason Doing Stupid Things
Jason Rimbaud commented on Jason Rimbaud's story chapter in Stupid Jason Doing Stupid Things
If it was up to me, my view on sports balls is well known, but this is a journal Jason wrote some fifteen years ago, blame him, I’m innocent. as for photos, it wasn’t included in the journals, so…😜 -
January 14th, 2008 I said I was never going to do this again. And after the last final time, I never wanted this to happen again. I’m an adult, I have my own apartment, bills, credit cards, and car. I should be able to stop myself from having these thoughts. But I think I might have to just face the facts. I can’t control these feelings and I don’t even know how I’m going to be able to look at myself in the morning. Maybe I won’t even try. Stupid Jason, doing stupid things,

when did you decide on his final partner?

Thank you. You, and I'm not going to press on the one question I asked that you never answered and trust I'll get it out of you at the end.

Firstly, I was a bit bummed you deleted your comment. That's why I said I always agree with you...or did. I changed my mood to sarcastic cause I couldn't find horny. *shrugs* Due to first person, there really is no way to get into Davin's head, not a dig I promise. But in this part of the story, we don't know Davin's motivations other than what you have observed. Which makes him a bit mysterious and intriguing because right now he could go either way...boom another call back to the threesome. I'm on a roll. And who is this Jolt you speak of? I don't recall a Jolt. There is a Joel, and there is a smelly Colt. Hi Davin, looking good in your green wet undies.

Oh, be careful what you give permission for me to do. Without permission, I completely re-wrote Circumnavigation, all 156 chapters of it. No one will ever read it, but I did it. And the perfect chapter to cement Jolt, when they go to the creek after Colt fights with the parents, that's the turn. Bye Bye Davin! As for character descriptions, we still don't know what Joel looks like If I could get serious here. When you started this story, you didn't know who he was going to end up with? Is that real? And without spoiling anything for the rest of the readers, at which part in the story did you settle on someone? Because I might be partial to blondes, that wasn't the only reason I thought it was going to be Jolt. You left hints and glances, and reactions in the first few chapters that got my head pointed in that direction. And if I can pry further, do you outline a story, do you have a vague idea and just go, do you have an ending in mind and then see where the road takes you? I plot my stories out from start to finish. Not only do I know where its going, I have already written the ending, know all the twists and turns, major landmarks, and then I discover the beginning when I start writing. I normally have no idea for the first few chapters what the beginning is even going to be.

Which is why I'm allowed to post here. I'm a chef, not a writer. And one of those things I'm damn good at. In all seriousness, forget about the First Person tense or whether or not I like it. This is a great story with real depth of character that I am completely smitten with. It goes against everything I am usually attracted to a story, but it works wonderfully and except for the tense issue that I mentioned, which is my pet peeve so other people shouldn't care what I think, I don't have anything negative to say. I adore these characters and thank you for putting up with my silliness. I only really act this way when I'm really into a story.

Um Sandalwood is not decently anything but gross. As for your aversion to cheese, I now know you don't like in Wisconsin. I still have unpurchased tickets and a promise to fulfill. But first I must riddle out your state. I do like your take about closeted both of them. Joel's divine hiddeness has been laid out masterfully in the chapters. But if I may disagree with the author, cause lets face it, I know best. . hahaahaha Davin has some issue about being found out. He's the one that stopped their further exploration in the BED because he didn't want Gavin to catch them. He didn't want to go to Joel's room because he's scared of them hearing them. He wanted to run after Joel but didn't because he was afraid. I think he has his own hangups. Because if you don't remember, I'll remind you, god I'm being cheeky tonight, we don't yet know if Gavin knows Joel is gay. Davin might be hiding his gayness for Colt...Joel due to Gavin. I'm sure we shall see at a later time but don't rule out Davin's fear while you focus on Joel. But I do like this take, and you might use it all the time, but I haven't noticed it before this story and I like it. PS: I know the story doesn't end here. But when I wrote this comment, before I posted it, I hadn't yet read your reply to my earlier comment where you said more to come. And as you can see, once I type something, I can't be arsed to change it when I could have before I posted. Truthfully, most everything I comment should be deleted before posting. But then, I'm lazy.

Roy is cute, both the fictional one and the real one. And thank you for changing the name just for me. I appreciate it muchly. Why are you giving me false hope regarding Jolt? Do you know what I wish. I wish it was April, and I'd write an April Fools chapter for you where we get Jolt. That's what we should do...did I say that outloud? Joel must be the bottom for Davin, all that nervous twin energy, for sure. As for Jolt, I think they would be vers with Colt preferring the bottom but up for a top once in a while. I think Learning to Lie is an amazing title, and I'll go on record saying it right now.

Hello, I probably have the biggest undies fetish on this entire site, combined. I loved it, though you didn't go far enough. Though it makes sense that you don't enjoy writing spicy scenes. I didn't for years, I only started with Tyler's Dilemma, and I didn't dip my toe in, I jumped right/write in with a watersports fetish for one of my characters. I guess when the dam breaks...See what I did there. I'm pretty proud of that one. When the dam breaks the spicy shit flows out..I did it again. That's what we call a twofer. I forgot to look, so if you don't use one excuse me, but if you do use an editor, ask him to look for those pesky tense issues and call you out if it matters. Dialogue structure, well, I didn't want to be perceived as pushy or bitchy, which both things I am, often.

my best friend from back. in PA loved him too. I know all the songs because of him. Bad memories this brought up.

So another talk, this time on horseback. I think Trace hates Joel and is secretely trying to kill him so he can take his trophies and melt them down for money. Joel's frustration about another school but the same old lies hits hard. You can sense the frustration dripping off the page. “You smell so fucking good,” he grunted and I laughed feeling my face flush. “I hated that you smelled like Colt.” Fucking liar! Colt smells like regret and Mac-N-Cheese. Translates into amazing! “Then you’re just going to need convincing then,” he said and I looked up to see him smile, fleeting, before he started towards the door. Show him what a BJ feels like! Trust me, that will convince anyone to stay. I don't know if I've read a story where both our boys are closeted. Usually it's one out and the other wants to hide. I like that neither Davin or Joel seem to have experience in the love that dares to yell its name. It makes their experiences seem urgent and yet clumsy. This is a weird place to end the story but bravo, I loved it.

“At least you won’t be alone, you’re the second new enrollment from Tempton,” she said, and I looked up at her, to see her smile widen. “It kind of made me wonder what was going on over there.” Has to be Roy, I'm starting to see that Krista doesn't really have any ancillary characters in her stories. Not like in mine where I'll add characters to say one joke and then disappear forever. I was right, it was Roy. Roy better be straight. Had a cousin Roy, who was also straight, though there was so moments where I wasn't so sure he was. And we're boys, it didn't matter if we were related by marriage. But we were technically cousins. Anyway, I already don't like Roy due to past baggage. Oh Krista, can you please rename the character, thanks. Lorianne I like her, she is a free spirit that also likes Colt. Just saying, By the way, her friendenemy, Rissa? is giving off lesbian vibes. Then we get to baseball tryouts without trying out. He can't have his number so he ran off crying. Jocks are ridiculous. I do enjoy that you aren't giving him any wins. The jokes hit him hard, the secret is tearing at him, threatening to consume him at every turn. Even with Davin, he is forced to keep a secret. If he's not the poster boy for starting a gay-straight alliance I don't know who is. I swear you toe the line between dramatic for no reason to creating the balance of drama that has a soul. Another great chapter with insight into Joel's struggle to find a place where he doesn't have to lie. The title of this story shouldn't be Learned To Lie, but Learned to Stop Lying. One more chapter until the end of the story. I'm so sad.

I'm glad that you are winding down the story to be truthful. You have drug out (and not in a bad way at all, this is highly entertaining) what I believe is your premise, the rehabilitation of Joel. I think if the story is ended, don't worry about writing more, keep it lean and poignant. Even if I don't get my Jolt, if the ending is good and makes sense, I'd say this has been one of my favorites I've read this year.

Told you I wasn't finished yet. Flipping the light switch, I left the door cracked feeling my heart rate pick up knowing why I did it. Everyone knows why you did it. You want Colt...I mean...Davin to come scratching around your door. You should stand there in your underwear, bent over like your looking for something in the drawer. Show him the goods! (editor note) You are driving me crazy switching in and out of present and past tense, sometimes in the same sentence. There, I got that off my chest, I've been holding it in for 19 chapters. PS to my Comment: I really want Joel to be the bottom. I'd love to read his stream of conscious as he's being taken by Colt...I mean Davin." “This isn’t going as fucking smooth as I thought it would,” Because both of you are dreaming about Colt! I was about to go lower when I heard a muffled thud. Jumping, I pulled my hand away feeling the bed shift beside me I haven't read any of the comments, how mad are the readers at you? I'm not, because they aren't meant to be, which is why you stopped them. By the way, they are finally in a bed!! “There’s no pressure, it was just an invitation,” Yeah, I'd rather not go to a place where they hate people like me. And because this is your comments, I'm gonna keep my thoughts to myself about this. “And you can’t wear those boxer briefs around me anymore,” “There’s this whole fucking the enemy fantasy I got playing out in my head and that doesn’t help.” Oh, Davin is fantasizing about fucking Joel, he is the top. Booya! The rest of this chapter is sports ball talk, boring! I love the interplay at the creek. Though if I was Davin or Joel, I would have completely stripped before getting into the creek. Show the other my bits, see if anything stands up and pays attention. Great chapter, its almost nice to read a story where they don't just start humping like bunnies in a secluded spot while only being in their underwear. Two chapters to go before I'm all caught up.

One Confused Gay Boy
Jason Rimbaud commented on Jason Rimbaud's story chapter in One Confused Gay Boy
Thanks, Jason was an interesting writer in a stream of conscious type of way. He kind of meanders a bit but he gets his point across. I wonder what happened to him, his journal ended in 2010, that's fifteen years of life. Sometimes I go back to look for more journals but I've never found any. -
I am team Jolt all the way! I'll start a petition, I write my congressman...err....woman...but it's Nancy Pelosi and she's so old I'm doubtful she could do anything except insider trading. But someone is going to help me push Jolt into reality. Wait! You said you're on the fence about writing more. Have I just laughed and ran along with you for 21 chapter only for you to stop at 21? That's not fair, I don't see how you could tie up this story in only two chapter left. Jolt haven't even kissed yet. This isn't about shoe laces or Jolt, I'm just sad.

Prologue: Stolen I-Pods
Jason Rimbaud commented on Jason Rimbaud's story chapter in Prologue: Stolen I-Pods
Dr. Susan seemed to be on Jason's payroll for nearly four years, according to the journal. I'm not sure how much she was per hour back in 06, but Jason seemed to think she was worth it. I think when you journal, you never really expect people to read it, so I think Jason could be honest there, where in his life he seemed to not be so honest in his interactions.
