tim As always, your way with words is incredible, and I hope putting them down to paper has helped to purge them from your mind. Love you lots, my friend. Today and always. xoxo
  2. It’s good to see you, too, molly. 😊
  3. It’s good to see you, molly. It really is.
  4. Happy day to you, too, tim. It’s supposedly 36C (97F) outside, but I’m not venturing outside to see if I agree or don’t agree. The AC is set at 26C (79F) and it’s just kicked on again, so I’m staying put. I hope you and your men are keeping cool. xoxo
  5. They look absolutely delicious, tim! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
  6. Congratulations!!
  7. Sorry to hear your area is still having air quality issues. I noted the red bar. (as I like to call it) alert was gone for Toronto and my town, so I thought we were getting in the clear. I hope the cool weather in the next few days helps dissipate the haze as I think it’s the warm weather that keeps it in place.
  8. Sasha really is the best, isn’t he? I just checked, and as I type this, there are several coolish days ahead through June 19. So, maybe there can be doughnuts in your future…
  9. And, the same to you, tim! 😊
  10. He sounds like a cheeky wee bugger.
  11. local asparagus sounds lovely - enjoy! Mucci Farms - Kingsville, Ontario - is sold at my local Metro, so, if you are near one of them, I’d have a look. The name on the carton is smucchies.
  12. Poor sparrow. I hope he was able to find his/her way home. A rat? Ugh… My days been good so far, though I just came in from pulling a ridiculous amount of mushrooms (toadstools?) out of the lawn under the crabapple tree. Kinda gross, because some were turning black and were very soft. Who knew having a left over box of “COVID gloves” would come in handy, eh? Hope the rest of your day with your men is a good one!
  13. I found the picture of the carton online, and it turns out I’ve been buying the PC brand of Ontario greenhouse strawberries. My Google search shows other stores have their own versions of this. Hope that helps.
  14. They also have a pretty cool name, imo. Hi B! *waves*
  15. I actually grocery shopped today and gave the blueberries a look from afar as I decided on bananas and apples instead. I will be trying this recipe, though as it looks really good. And, might I add, they look suspiciously like his Strawberry Oatmeal Crumble ( can’t remember their exact name atm) bars. Which reminds me, I keep forgetting to buy chia seeds. My nephew introduced me to chia pudding, which I found very much to my liking, so I ran out of them. Oh wells… PS: Have you tried Ontario hothouse strawberries? Every time I’ve bought them - even over the winter months - they’ve always been exceptionally tasty.
  16. Happy Wednesday to you, too, Chris. I hope all goes well at the hospital. Take care.
  17. She’s gorgeous. 🥰
  18. Hey Starry. It’s good to see you, Nope, no plans. Though I may do some baking. Oh wait, that’s a plan, isn’t it?
  19. Sounds good - all of it. 👍🏻👍🏻 I made Sasha’s lemon cheesecake squares, which I just took out of the oven. Looking forward to breakfast tomorrow…
  20. I hear you, tim, and wish you well, because really, sometimes not wanting to do anything is actually doing something. You’re “taking a break” as it were. Enjoy the quietness that brings. As for dinner? Quiche sounds like a lovely idea. xoxo
  21. My condolences, kbois. Losing a fur baby is hard. He was a really handsome boy.
  22. Yeah, it lightened my mood, most definitely.
