You are so right about sarcasm. I get a lot of entertainment exchanging comments playfully with those I trust to respond in kind. Faith is a refreshing and realistic way of looking at the blessings of our lives.

Great snapshots of fall. I love the images of nature you paint with words.

You made me miss fall in all its glory. Living south of you, fall marks the arrival of geese who arrived to spend the winter.

Geron has written many Halloween stories that I have enjoyed. Nachtmerrie is in my opinion the best of the best. It is dark, moody and scared the piss out of me. Mooi asks Coby and David a favor. They gladly volunteer to help their friend, but are soon confronted with Black Mathias an evil, malevolent spirit that still brings fear to their beautiful Amsterdam. It is the second tale in the Amsterdam Tales, so you might want to read Mooi first. It's great treat for Halloween, but enjoyable anytime. I highly recommend the story.

Another great Halloween story. Know how much I love Charlie Boone Halloween stories, it might surprise you to know that Nachtmerrie is my favorite Halloween tale. That is because it is both dark and scary. I had a wonderful time visiting this story once again.

Hey Drew! You want to hear a genuine Terry Whine? Well here it is! What the #&% #@$%&+ frick'n hell! The PMI 2.5 is 500 today! Even with all three air purifiers at full blast the PMI in my condo the PMI inside is 115! Orange, who normally sleeps on the cushioned balcony chairs for hours, demands to be let out then back inside in less than a minute! My eyes are burning, my nose is stuffed up, and my lungs feel like I've been smoking 4 packs of cigarettes today! Everything outside is colored in shades of gray! I can't see buildings or trees less than one km away! I'm going to sue someone if the rainy season doesn't start soon! How's that for a rant, Drew! Unfortunately, everything said is true. I'd tell myself to suck it up, but that's a disgusting thought. 🤧 Back to the safest activity today, reading. Hoping your day will be better than mine, my friend.

Time does have a way of slipping quickly past us. You should talk to Difris about finding a good place to spend writing and getting to use that time coordinator gizmo. 😄

Like Val, this is one of my favorite Beatles song. I chose it mainly because the words speak of hope of recovery from things that often leave us broken. It is a good match for one of my main goals here.

I felt bad that your mom got hurt. Falls as we get older are more dangerous. It is very good news that the CT scans did not show internal injuries. It sounds like the care she got was very good. I think the humor was a comforting way to handle a situation that could have created a great deal of stress for both your mom and you. Tell her I am sending my best wishes for a quick recovery.
