    Chapter 4

Arrow my become a very famous artist, but money and fame are not everything in life. I wonder what would make him happier at this point in his life. At least he has a good family life with parents that love and support him. I'm with @Anton_Cloche in believing GG has her own ghostly Paris Salon, similar to Gertrude Stein and Alice B Toklas, filled with famous artists.

    Chapter 6

Donovan could fit the stereotype super jock who takes what he wants. The way he treated James when in the locker room and when he asked for a date support that stereotype. However, he did come to the rescue when James confronted Raymond in the cafeteria. Donovan is confident, but is he kind? I'm betting on Dion to be a better choice for James.

    Chapter 5

Mr. Wilbur is a guardian angel who knows what both Dion and James need. This chapter had me thinking about the Rolling Stones song "You Can't Always Get What You Want". James may want Donovan, but he might end up needing Dion.

    Chapter 4

James and his mom are both great characters. I am happy that they were able to talk freely and resolve the problem between them. I also love Mr. Wilbur. It was sad to learn that he has not found someone after he lost his Paul. I wonder why Dion acts so hostile towards James if what others say is true. Great start and I am following this story to the finish!
  5. I almost said before the kids are born, but then it would be like wishing some of my students were not born. I don't want to do that, but do hope that these kids don't inherit the ideas and attitudes of their parents. Most teachers hope that these kids will turn out better than their parents. Hopefully the nurturing of other adults in their lives will overcome the nature of their parents.

    Chapter 3

The premise of the story is both unique and interesting. GG as Arrow's guardian angel is a very endearing idea. The original picture and frame is a great addition. It should become his trademark for all his pictures.
  7. As a retired teacher I can honestly say that one time is enough. I loved all the kids kids I taught, but some parents should be neutered after their first!
  8. The link was a fun trip to Scandinavian foods. Happy New Years, @Timothy M..

    Plattenbau

LunaM. and Thirdly have brought to GA a very interesting story of love and life in a very depressing setting and trying times. It has a very compelling plot with difficult, eccentric characters that quickly become lovable. The writing and editing have created a story that is easily read and highly enjoyable. I strongly recommend you read this slightly dark tale with a bright ending.

    Epilogue: Say Yes

It took Ed a while, but he finally made the right decision. The different characters coming together to form a family was a very nice ending.
  11. A very happy start to the new year. I hope they celebrate each New Year the same way for the rest of their lives.
  12. Anastasia and Wilhelm as a couple. That is a disturbingly funny thought.

    Chapter 19- Mother

Alex standing up to his mother was a high point for me. She forced Alex to protect Ed as she brought back war memories. The mental wounds from war can be devastating. Ed doesn't have physical wounds, but the mental wounds leave him vulnerable to mom's attacks. I hope Karl can help Ed recover from her attack. It sounds like professional help is needed by Ed, Alex and Alex's mom.

    Chapter 18- Daddy

Mama is upset and frightened for Alex. She is a formidable obstacle for Ed to maneuver around to keep Alex. It will be interesting how Ed and Alex stand up to her. The outcome of this confrontation will be interesting to see.
  15. I got a kick out of this video. Between the title and the video, maybe some GA author might find inspiration to write about campy vampires getting in trouble and falling head over heals in love.

    Chapter 36

Daeran's battle was very intense, and he took the loss hard. It was great to see the team rally to support him. What bothered me was how he had to experience the negative thoughts to release his power. Those thought must have been powered by something from the past. He fears others knowing what that was. I hope he can get help to deal with it before it destroys Daeran.
  17. Very hot locker room action! Both Rusty and Matty are falling in love with each other and are vulnerable. Their minds are simply framing it in different words. The discussions with Jonathan and Maddy really got Rusty thinking. I don't know where that will lead him and Matty, but I suspect there will be some very anxious times ahead. I am hoping that Matty will meet Rusty's ahole father at the game. I can see either Rusty or Matty laying into dad if he attacks one or the other.
  18. Awesome Cassie!
  19. Living in The Shire won't exempt you from US Taxes.
  20. At least you don't look like Boris Badenov! However, he does seem to be the inspiration for some of the cliffhangers you, Mrsgnomie and kbois inflict on readers!
  21. Nothing wrong with the pic, although the smirk on your face looks like you must be up to some mischief! As usual! 😈
  22. I've been waiting for an interview with these two! You did a great job @astone2292. I do think both @Mrsgnomie and @kbois did an outstanding job in answering the questions. IMO, they both are excellent writers dedicated to making their works entertaining and memorable for their readers. I love participating in the banter these two create in the comments. They both spend a great deal of personal time and effort to include the readers in a community that makes comments a big part of the experience when reading their stories. However, their stories are excellent and could stand alone without the comments. Readers don't just follow these two, we stalk them and annoy them with all sorts of requests. It's the price they pay for all the fun they create with their comments.
  23. He's got moxie!
  24. Wait until you had to deal with the IRS for several decades. Bet you'll have a change of heart then.
  25. That's what happens when you write cross-over stories. Check with @Geron Kees. He has the same problem with his Booniverse characters according to his comments on his last Charlie Boone story.
