This is another wonderful tale written beautifully by Mawgrim that fits perfectly in the world first created by Anne McCaffrey. Mawgrim has filled in many of the gaps of times in the original books by adhering to the cannon. The vitality and zestful spirit of her characters and situations merge seamlessly with characters first created by McCaffrey. I can honestly say Mawgrim's stories give me the same thrills and excitement in the exact same Pern I have loved for 5 decades.

I lovely end to a beautifully told tale. I will miss Pern and look forward to the next story. I understand the need to rest and work on other stories for a while. Just know that I will welcome and read your stories as always. I liked the wonderful description of hatching day and the festivities. I also appreciate that Hortaimin remains in the wyre after standing up to his father. I am hoping that his second chance will be successful and a positive change for him and the wyer.

Hi All! You have been a busy bunch while I slept. Even Drew's nukes didn't wake me. Hope you had a great day. I'm looking forward to the weekend.
-
Hi Clo! I'm proud of you too! Mornings and up to 1 PM it's coffee for me. After that, it's tea. Thailand has some great teas. I liked your selections!

Hey Gary! I appreciate it, but don't feel pressed to do them. I had to skip making comments on several books I was reading before I took the time off. On book had posted 5 chapters with 6-8 pages of comments for each chapter. I did my comment, but didn't read any of the others. I do hope you are doing well today. I am looking forward to reading the Anthology stories this weekend/week. Yours are at the top of the list to read. ❤️

I am so looking forward to this year's Anthology! My goal is to read them all. I know a few of the authors, but look forward to reading not only new authors, but hopefully authors I know trying out new styles and genres. A big Thank You All for the work you have done.

Hey Bucket! I would bet that's a picture on permanent display in his new place. How are you doing today?
-
Hey Dugh! Glad to see you made it in today. One of the small reasons I didn't post was that danged Cache problem. It must have been very big, since Myr says it is still an issue.

Hi Drew! As for curfew...😝 Waiting for the nuke! Don't disappoint me. Glad you haven't forgot me in my absence.

I don't trust Timok and wonder why no one has searched him for hidden devices. I suspect Timok is the one supplying false information to Garjah. Timok's statements fly in the face of the recording of the raider in Garjah and Essell's home. I can feel the angst Essell has now that he has to wait to try to rescue Garjah. If Garjah is being held in the Security building, it could be that he was rescued by his own team. Why is Timok so sure that Garjah's own security team has him? Timok seems to know who these guys are, but didn't say anything about that until now! That does not add up. If and I do mean if Timok is telling the truth then that would mean that Garjah's own security team is suspect as well as the Kardoval. It would also explain why Garjah has not been able to communicate or rescue Essell, Bouncer and Ases. Also, the Kardoval knows by now of the attack, even if they are not behind it. Why are they not doing something? Probably because they are behind the attack and don't want the public to know about it. Of course Timok is probably lying, especially since his account doesn't match the recorded conversation of the raiders. Damn, but this is a very convoluted situation. One of those "Don't trust anyone!" kind of things. Great writing that has really stirred up a hornet's nest. I just hope the bad guys are the ones that get stung.

Don't be a Jerky! The steaks are high enough, I am sure you are on steak out in the Korner spying on the kids in the flock.

Hi Everyone! Still catching up on my reading, but only have one or two more chapters in two different books. I should be caught up by this evening.

Pricey bags! That's a lot of restaurant meals out with your great-aunt. 🤔 Of course you deserve everyone of them for helping her clean for 10 days! 😄

Looks like some excellent reefs for snorkeling! However, from my experience I would warn you to stay on the island side of the reef. The waves can crush a good swimmer against the reef and down under the water. Definitely not safe on the outside of that reef.

Don't get Aaron back on the pun streak, he'll use anything to beef up the comment count.

Guilty also, but this is why I don't feel any regrets.

I am still onboard with Drsawzall and Aaron. Essell just led Timok to the rebels and how to infiltrate their headquarters. I hope the guys and rebels see the danger they may be in, and take steps to make sure Timok cannot get the information back to the Kardoval. Another intriguing chapter.

I'm with Drsawzall and Aaron. Timok is not someone I would trust at all. Essell and Ases may need his help to get out of the forest and back to somewhere safe, but they should be extremely suspicious of anything Timok asks them to do, and vigilant of everything around them. Timok's explanation of why he would save Garjah may be true, but it doesn't necessarily mean he feels the same way about Essell. Drsawzall's analysis was excellent, and I appreciated the fact that Timok's description did not match what the guys had heard from those looking for them after the attack.

How else would you describe his betrayal by sending everyone off false cliffs to help @kbois catch us all off guard?

That's why we listen to @astone2292. He has panned out quite a few gold nuggets. Of course not always, but there are a few flakes in most of his ideas. OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!!!!!!!!!! I'll never listen to another "calling it" from you again! 😭

I finally got thru the chapter and comments, and now am able to make my own comment on the chapter. Hopefully it will post on page 4. My big concern is for the pups. I hate that kids suffer and the doctor indicates it will be quite a while. That's just not good enough for me. Maybe the Boss can pull some strings with his royal relative to hasten the cure. I won't be happy if they are not cured soon after they are rescued. It is just too cruel. As for Tyler's love life? Not too worried. He's going to have a lot of people interested and probably will find a true mate when we all least expect it. Elijah will find his true love! Of that I am very sure. The trouble is that it may not be in this book. That would be irritating, but I'm not worried that Elijah will be left alone. I am happy that there is now enough information that a plan to rescue the kids is being made. Elijah definitely needs to follow the inner voice to ensure the plan is successful and he and Tyler make it out alive. Love this chapter.

Unless they contain coconut. Then they are like the Christmas fruit cake that gets recycled each year for decades.

I see we're shaking her up a bit. Now she's using scare tactics.

@Mrsgnomie issuing an angry emoji?!!!! THAT must be a first. I'd watch out if I were @kbois

No need for any of that. All you have to do is join the dark side as part of the Korner Krew. We'll keep you hidden in the shadows until it is time to strike! It started when some of us irritated her a bit. Enough people were sent to the corner to start organizing and refurbishing the corner into Party Central for the Korner Krew. We snipe at her a bit then run back to the party. You are most welcome to join in the fun!
