  1. I keep wanting to give the chapter a ❤️ reaction, but you keep me laughing too much. The campus rag, Xpress, is such a clever device for twisting the plot and causing mayhem for the characters. It make a great antagonist in this story. Ray crying over the fake story of the death of Mad Dawg's own Hong-Kong Phooey was riotous. Maddox is going to have to reveal soon, or he will never get to use his little head in the presence of company again. His sexual orientation is not only confusing to him, but I'm not sure there is a definition for it in the spectrum of different sexual orientations. Jonathan has the right idea about Connor. Connor is good looking, but not even worthy of a wank.

    Here We Go Again

These two are so comically alike while being opposites. Their time together leads to a duet of skin flutes as the fingers dance across their own instruments. Of course they are both hiding their feelings and thoughts from each other and their friends. Denial of orientation by Maddox is matched by the rejection of attraction by Jonathan. i bet they will both end the party with fireworks. Just not sure if it will be in the exploding type or the fountain type of fireworks. The mental dialogues these two have with themselves are priceless.

    Tuesday

I believe Reza's parents are amused, but caught off guard by Reza's focus on Ravello and avoiding the tourist on vacation experiences. I loved the humor of the chapter very much. Ravello is a small place with many vantage points. As has happened many times in the series, people like Gianni and Angelo see things you would not expect. Reza is certainly embarrassed that they caught his encounter with Otto yesterday at the pool. Of course, the boys just had to tease. The little glimpses of Toto and Michelle were cute reminders of their stories. The best was how Reza's mind was in complete denial, while his hand was doing it own thing.

    Chapter 11

I read this and went to the blog's page. The influences described was interesting. What I liked most were the pictures. I admit I recognized some immediately, because I look online for a picture whenever you identify a location in the Ravello stories. What impressed me with you pictures were the ones of the alleys, tunnels, pathways, hangouts and orchards. Things I never thought to look up online, but added a lot of texture. Thanks!
  5. Hello Clo, The fever breaking is a good sign, but still get a lot of rest, water and eat good foods. I hope you will recover long before the lockdown ends. Take good care of yourself.

No problem! I am enjoying the story very much.

    Chapter 7

The comments do not match the contents of the chapter even slightly. What's the problem?
  9. It's a lose, lose situation either way!
  10. Hi Clo! Are you feeling any better? I hope you followed Dr. Cassie's orders. ❤️

    Chapter 5

It seems the people on the Noor are adherents to Patrick Henry. They prefer death than lose their liberty. They are beginning to sound more like the heroes of this story. The Puritans are sounding so mechanical and emotionless. I feel a great deal of uneasiness at the prospect of getting to their planet.

    Chapter 4

Alien Sex Ed 101. The Puritans are sexists. Using something drug like to inhibit their sex drive just doesn't seem like a good idea. With such great medical technology, isn't there a different solution. Cutting off spare body parts at 140 years old sound a bit like the old sci-fi movie, Logan's Run. I like the fact that they have saved Adam, but their solution seems to lack creativity. It just doesn't feel right to me. It seems that the rebels are striking back.

    Chapter 3

I am amazed at all then information quietly tucked into these first chapters. Lord Kelshen and Relshek are top scientist in charge of dealing with Solitaryarolous. We don't know what this is, but if affects people coming out of incubators it probably is affecting the growth rate of the population negatively. That would be a threat to the civilization of Purity. This threat is rapidly increasing. Somehow, Adam seems to be a key in solving this problem. We also know there is an AI that covers everything in this civilization. The medical technology is phenomenal, but still can stop the deterioration of the body. However, the human like beings do not show outward signs of aging. Now the ship on its way home to Purity has a major problem to confront. It is being approached by a ship from their planet that is maintaining "radio silence". Are the people aboard friendly, rebels, pirates or dead? For that matter, why is the AI of the ship not responsive? Great chapter with a lot to think about. The dialogue is ingeniously crafted to subtly reveal so much information!

    Chapter 2

Adam's rescue is probably a good thing, because the aliens are committed to cure him. Sage's rescue doesn't seem necessary, since the police thinks he is crazy, or maybe just reporting some costumed murderers. Who are the attackers the aliens took down? Why did the aliens take Sage? There's a lot of questions generated by this chapter.

    Chapter 1

Adam is a very independent young boy. Even with the obvious signs he is dangerously ill, his fierce pride makes him a very empathetic character. I really felt the oppressive mood of the story in the descriptions of the street and weather. I suspect that Christian and Relshek are the same character, but Christian seems nurturing and Relshek a dispassionate professional. I wonder why Relshek and Lord Kelshen are so focused on Adam. I don't like Sage. He is too self centered and selfish to waste any of sympathies upon.
  19. Kittens are survivors. If I were the old cats I'd be worried about the Revenge of Yayo. Maybe you could write a short story with this title. You know, get back into writing. I know it would be a fun read with your sense of humor.
  20. It does help if you get stoned. 🤪
  21. Hey Drewster! Love the Yayo tales! Kittens are so much fun to watch, especially when irritating their elders.
  22. Me also. I looked it up. It was made a year before I was born. Wikipedia describes it as this. As a teacher this has been a very huge concern of mine for decades, but that's too long of a story to tell here.

    Prologue

A thoughtful and compassionate Foreword. I look forward to the story.
