LOL! Sorry for the cliffie. Sometimes 1k comes way before I'm ready, too. Thanks for the review. Great Cliffy! It's a good thing I am reading an Archived book. Otherwise your ears would be burning and feeling like you were in a cathedral bell tower a midnight! I really do love all these Carthera stories and their characters.

Hey Bucket! Sounds like a great plan for dinner and leftovers. I do love Pho and the various Thai versions called Kuai Tiao. The Thai versions are hotter and some have curry bases and coconut milk. I like both, but honestly prefer Pho.

I agree with Benny. Sheshtun's head in a bag and the bodies of all the co-conspirators cold and decaying. I am sure Dav's plan will accommodate these requirements.

Yelaku is still subtly nudging Benny to be an Alpha. He jumps on Benny's statement that Benny will kill Sheshtun with the statement, “You know, if you kill Sheshtun, you’ll become the head of the Tiger Clan.” Then easily and quickly agrees to allowing Benny to bring the clan to Yelaku's territory.

I hope the guys can get to Velaku and Dav fast. The new Falcon will hopefully get them out of there. Sheshtun is getting all the breaks now. It's time for a change of fortune. I hope Yuri's brother and mate were rescued.

Yuri and Benny do need to relax and heal, but they also need to talk about what happened. Yuri's brother and his mate may be safe, but they are still prisoners of Sheshtun. Dav and Velaku have a big job ahead. It was good that those two now have the doctor in custody. I wonder what new information the doctor will be able to give them. The doctor seems honorable and may be of help at the hospital or clinic after this mess is cleaned up.

Hot time in the cabin. I wonder how long the drugs in Yuri's body will last? I hope they both have some energy to move when the drugs finally get used up by Yuri's body.

The doctor and Benny have rescued Yuri, and are heading away from the compound, but where are they? Where are they going to? If Benny can get out a call for help, how long will it take Dav and Velaku to get there?

Judging by how Yuri reacted, the operation reopened the path for memories to connect. Unfortunately, it would seem the most recent and horrible memories burst out first.

It's difficult waiting for something like this. I wonder how long the recovery time will be after the operation? Dav needs to get up to speed and get that stalker. He's not only dangerous and creepy, but a slimeball to boot.

Yuri may not like needles, but he shows no fear if the results mean he can be more like he was before and regain lost memories.

I am enjoying Yuri's determination to not be treated like a child. I am kind of hoping the cure will not change everything that Yuri is now. He may not be the Yuri that Benny first fell in love with, but he could be the Yuri Benny needs to become a strong and compassionate Alpha. Restore the memories, short term memory and a bit stronger filter on his speech and he would be a wonderful, loyal and most loving mate for Benny.

I love this Yuri. Like I said before, he has no filters. Benny really needs to listen to Yuri's advice and get over his inhibitions. Yuri knows what mates do, he knows what he wants, he knows what Benny wants, he know his is Benny's mate. No amount of lost memories should stand in their way and stop them from mating. To Yuri it is that simple. Benny needs to see the doctors for a cure to his awkward inhibitions.

Fun fact time. At one time lollygagging had a second meaning. It was a synonym for flirting. Example: The Alpha sternly warned his son to stop lollygagging with his Enforcer. Example: Ron was once again gagging as Harry lollygagged with Draco. Example: Some readers love to lollygag with the authors in their comments on GA.

Yuri may have trouble remembering things, but he definitely has an independent streak. I am sure knowing what mates do in bed has been stored in the longterm memory. Benny is funny, but I can empathize with him. He's probably afraid of 'taking advantage' of Yuri. Yuri on the other hand apparently has no filter on his mouth or his inhibitions. Things may get a bit awkward. Let's hope they don't get interrupted if the do decide to have sex. A knock at the door could set Yuri back for months.

It feels good to see how comfortable Yuri is with Benny. Benny is enjoying the time with Yuri by reacquainting Yuri with the things they enjoyed together before.

Such a beautiful chapter. I was emotionally drawn in at first fearful then with a joyous sense of relief. I am hoping it gets better for Benny and Yuri as time together and healing treatments help them reclaim the loving bond they had before.

Nice cliffhanger! What will be Yuri's reaction. I am happy that Benny at least knows now Yuri is aware Benny is his mate. That's an improvement.

Dav is as good a man as Ellis has told him many times. I do have a leftover question from the last chapter. Since snake venom can be controlled by Ellis and Dav, does that mean it can be custom made to make different cures for different conditions and illnesses? Think of how it would change the lives of snakes and their importance to everyone if that is true. Snakes would become a valued and respected part of society as doctors and scientists responsible for the health of all beings.
