Cavel and Bashta's bond is very different from the unknowing bond forged by an evil outside influence. That was so full of angst where this bond is only a bit of tension because of Bashta's innocence and lack of social encounters from an early age. I do like Bashta's fierce pride and independence. Cavel is going to have his hands full of his little mynx. Cavel's prowl are at least being more friendly to Bashta.
I love the start of this story. It is sensual with the descriptions of the tent and the freeing from its environment as they step out into the jungle. Both Cavel and Bashta are easy to relate to and very sexy. Saulle is so stupid and disrespectful on the surface, he will either die quickly or become the evil antagonist of the story. Great start! Keep it coming.
Does she also like to stir up trouble with the other cats? 🤔 BTW, you are really opening yourself up to Clo when she gets up in an hour or two. I am sure she will be able to amply answer to your question. 😄
Hey Page! I have to admit that your Max has better tastes, and is more adventurous with his food choices than I was as a kid. Of course when I was young Americans had very limited food experience. Mexican, Italian, Chinese and meat and potatoes. I grew up on a lot of jello salads with canned mixed fruit. 🤢
It looks like Yayo is going to be a jumper. The stove is high for a kitten. Orange love to jump as high as she can, so the house geckos stay as close to the ceiling as possible now. (The geckos are tiny here and a great pest control for insects, so they are welcome.)
Howdy Gary! I appreciate your efforts. I suppose I could help you refine my profile, but you provide enough eye candy for me to be completely satisfied. I do agree that kids are no fun. I like men in tight, low slung blue jeans but not scantily clad. The best parts need to be left to the imagination or..... Have fun tonight. I'm checking out to catch up on some sleep in the next half hour.
@Cia is a renowned author and this story, is proof of her talents. Bonds Unbroken tells of a romance between two very different kinds of beings. Velaku and Natham are two shifters of different species faced with mysteries and danger. This and the other short stories and books in the Carthera Tales are set in another reality both similar and very different to our reality. This universe is built with attention to details of the settings and situations in which the character find themselves. The characters are empathic and you will quickly bond with them. The plot is violent and not for the faint of heart. This energetic adventure does have a beautiful ending and is a wonderful read.
Great story with a happy ending, but I am thankful for an epilogue. Also good to know there will be other stories in this universe. Which reminds me.
It was fun to see the story set in my home in the US, but in an alternate reality.
Damned blood, but most of it seems to be the villains, so that's OK by me. I do hope that Natham has killed his so called father. Although that seems to be in doubt with Nathan as a lynx and his 'father' a leopard. One hell of a lot of great action in this chapter.
Only one thing to say. You are so evil to post this chapter before Christmas, and not post another chapter until after Christmas! I am so glad I didn't read this when it was first published no matter how great this story is.😉
To be honest, the darkness of these chapters is chilling and gets me very angry. Not a great state to be in before going to bed. It creates something like the nightmares Velaku has. I hope it gets better soon.
It was very unexpected. I assume the asshat sadist is Natham's father. The trip to the mall was fun until he arrived. Why were the Falcon's so far away from the boys that they could not protect them? Mishtar is going to drill them a new hole for their sloppy surveillance. I hope we don't wait long for a rescue that permanently takes out Natham's father.
