Once again, you have given an explanation of the writing process that is easy to understand and use. It made me stop and analyze the way I think, and yes there are places where I stop and pause to switch directions. This lead to a random association, because I am ADHD and proud of it. I thought of the most unformatted book I have ever read. It is The Autobiography of Alice B. Toklas by Gertrude Stein. If you have read it, I would appreciate your thoughts on how she used minimal formatting to write this interesting autobiography of her own life. Thanks for the great insights you share with us. The newest Charlie Boone story is as good as it gets. Charlie and his friends of Third Planet Inquiries are off on another exciting adventure where they find new friends and a lot of danger. The older, more experienced and mature guys are even more powerful in this story. They need all that, because they are facing a much more dangerous situation that threatens to destroy the billions of humans on the planet. The story features many but not all of their off world friends, a notorious thief, Elves of course (but some are a bit different) and a secret, mysterious corporation with otherworld connections. An outstanding addition to the traditional Charlie holiday tales. Have a great time reading!

What a wonderful ending to this tale. Charlie and company may be older, wiser and more experienced, but they are just as delightful as always. The alternate reality was very well constructed and the plot just as amazing as ever. The battle was an exciting end to the story. The only tiny bit of a disappointment was because there is no Nicholas in the reality. Of course, that too could change is some future story. Great work, Geron. Don't worry about timing the postings. I am sure we will all be here waiting and thankful for a new story.

Hey Page! I tried vegan in the US and also did not like it. However, once a year in Thailand is a Buddhist week of eating vegan food. A lot of restaurants switch to a vegan menu inspired by a millennia of Chinese vegans. The foods are excellent and use a variety of ingredients that actually have the tastes and textures of meats and seafoods. I go out at least 2 or 3 times with my Thai friends to eat during that week. At least once a year I don't feel guilty about what i eat. 😊

Colt does really run the city and has a network of spies to help him. He had a narrow escape, and will probably disappear for a while. Nameer is determined to free Shivay from his mother's grasp. He also decided he will leave also. The comments have some interesting ideas about Mom and Colt, but I've not seen any clues. To be honest, one thing I do hope for is that Shivay shreds his mother's dress when he leaves. That thing has become an evil icon of his mother and the shame marriage she wants to force him into.

The best moment of the chapter was the discussion between the two crews. The worst was Colt grabbing Mike from behind. The most decisive was convincing Nameer that Siku was Shivay's true mate, and the bears of SF were corrupt and would be held accountable for the rape of Shivay.

Great plan! Can't wait for the action. I think the Papas are going to have fun fishing and playing detectives while the cub act as bait. I'm glad that Gunnar and Mike are personally helping Siku deal with his hurt.

Glad to see Axel is ready to kick some Arctic butt! I hope Corbett's whole group of bears end up in prison. As for him and Frode get torn apart! These two are a crazy as Christopher was and deserve the same fate. Gunnar and Mike are going to arrive with the whole Sturgeon Bay guys to help clean up San Francisco and remove the evil influence of Colt. I hope that Nameer will be not only able to help Siku, but also end the reign of Shivay' bigoted mom. Then both men can be free to be themselves. What does Gunnar suggest Siku leave for Shivay to find? Looking forward to finding out. @Grumpy Bear, I am definitely glad you are getting settled into your new job, and have had the chance to see how much you are missed. This is a great chapter of hope and full of energy and life. Traumatic chapters are extremely difficult to write, but the reward is a story that feels authentic and the reward is the good that happens as a result. I am wishing you all the best in your new job. I missed the big missing you moment, because I just started reading these stories a few weeks ago and have been binging to catch up. I am extremely happy that you are back and the stories will continue. It's a great series that I am enjoying very much. You do have a lot of great readers who are behind you and relieved you are back.

I am having a great time with this story. This mix of supernatural and mythical is a lot of fun. It is sad that some can't just sit back and engage in suspension of disbelief. I do believe that Kaarel is a kind of warrior employed to fight for the preservation of Siku and Shivay's love. That their love will affect the future is a reflection of the hopes of all humans. Humans want to know their actions will have an impact on the future.

That answered my questions about Shivay's father. His mother is definitely evil. I wonder if she will enlist the aid of the Hindu gods. That would be one major battle and possibly explain why Freyja is involved. I hope that Nameer is able to free himself with the help of Shivay and Siku, then find himself an awesome Mate.

I suspect Siku and Shivay are in for some tough times. If the weretigers do gang up on Shivay, I can see the Lycan Council becoming involved. It seems as though the Norse gods are already involved and Charlie is more of a guardian to Siku than just a soul mate. If the Norse gods are involved, I wonder if Bernie will be call on to help.

Charlie is a dear, but seems to actually be able to talk to Siku. It's looking more like Siku and Shivay may become Mates. The definitely make a great couple. I still worry about the party. Shivay seems to think he can handle it fine. I hope he is right. We do know that bears can be prejudiced from what happened with the Ellesmere bears. Hopefully San Francisco bears are not. I agree that Shivay's mother is probably going to create more problems. She seems to have a very mean streak. It is a bit funny that Shivay's father is quiet and does not seem to interact much with others in the family. Could Shivay's father be that uninvolved in all this mess?

Shit, meet Fan. It is very obvious from the last two chapters that Shivay's mom knew that he is gay. However, she is both a bigot and a traditionalist clinging to outdated Hindu fundamentalism. Shivay has only one person to turn to, Siku. Although I am still doubtful they are mates, the hot sex they experienced and the commonalities they have may convince me otherwise in future chapters. One thing that I am sure of, is that Siku will be there to support and help his friend Shivay. I do have some questions. How will Colt react when he meets Shivay? Are there any other gay tigers in the area? What will happen at Siku's party? Can Shivay accept what happens at the party? I am from the West Coast and know of the huge migrations of immigrants from China, Japan and SE Asia to the region. Are we going to see some of the different bear species such as the Panda, Sun Bear, and Japanese Black Bear?

Logan is a kick and a fun one to tease. The bar conversations was great. Shivay's mom may be a nice lady, but knows how to manipulate his guilt. I honestly think that Siku and Shivay will become friends and confidants, but not mates. I do hope that Shivay can also find a mate of his own and leave his family without regrets. Colt's only purpose in this should be the guy who connect Siku with the other bears in town. He may eventually be a good guy like Axel, but he still has a long way to go. I do hope the date works well for both of them and is very hot as promised.

I am with @astone2292 on this. Shivay and Siku are most likely not going to become mates. There was friendship and that will develop to be very close. I hope that Siku can help Shivay get out of the cultural morass of a gay man in that culture. Both Charlie and Siku have Colt's number correctly and I am glad Siku is very practical about what has happened. I don't think Colt even sounded good as a just for sex playmate.
