Thanks for mentioning this frosenblum. I seemed to have missed the prologue. I went back to read it. I haven't read "Operation Hammerhead", so I'll have to read it at the same time to keep up. Hopefully, the gap in time between the two stories won't cause too many problems.

An intriguing start to this story. The only thing these boys seem to have in common are their ages and the fact that their disappearance can easily be explained and death can't be confirmed by technology of the time. I wonder what other thing they have in common. The voice says they are needed in the future, but what can these boys from the past provide that boys in the future cannot? Maybe it is the fact that they are human? I am already hooked.

Recipe for a great story: One snarky, irreverent author, one unbeatable beta, one wickedly wonderful editor. Add a two hunky professionals, one iron lady, one pack for playful and heroic canines, two loving families, a skeleton in the closet, a prankster, a nerd and to balance the sweetness a whole lot of socio/psychotic evil. Mix until you have the texture of a Gordian Knot. The result is When Opportunity Knocks a story that is a wicked and wickedly funny romantic mystery filled with adventure and danger. kbois and her fellow miscreants make an unbeatable writing team. OK I know your waiting for it, the unavoidable pun. I Love Lucy! I am well aware of the Caldecott Medal after decades of teaching elementary and middle school kids. It is a very coveted award. Jumanji and The Polar Express are winners you might recognize. Lucy's adventures would make a great story. I suggest that you might write a murder mystery from the perspective of Bruce and his gang. They chase after and sniff out clues to the murder. The big problem is how to get their humans to find the clues and solve the crime. Humans just can't seem to understand dog talk. I know that there are books out like this, but the hero is usually a cat. Dogs need their own story.

An exciting chapter that had me duct taped to the computer until the end. Thank you for making Bruce, Kim and Kyle the heroes. I especially and happy that Bruce had his kevlar vest on and only got slightly wounded. ❤️ I think the only damage was to my heart. It was beating very fast the whole chapter.

I'd offer to get the torches lit for Kitt's march on you, but I'm afraid I have already missed the parade. Great chapter with a well timed cliffhanger. No problem. I can survive the few minutes it takes to get to the next chapter. 😛

You inspired something in me...Nightmares. Weeks and weeks of nightmares. These two are in the top four sick, evil, terrifying socio/psychopath villains in all the stories I have read on GA. (Cue the musical theme from "Psycho")

Moving Bo went well, but why did he get a king sized bed? Queen size is fine for one person his height. I wonder how he is going to fill the extra space on the side? Bo is obviously not confiding fully in his twin. I think Bo and Noah are going to find that separation is painful when Noah goes back to Japan. I was expecting the boot to fall, but not the shoe. Both of the boys did not handle this the best. Jett should have dealt with it before Noah spoke his piece. Both guys should have settled this before they went to bed...together. At least the damage by the shoe was quickly healed by make up sex.

Where to begin? I love Christmas even when it occurs in July. This chapter was like the stocking over the fireplace filled with a lot of wonderful treats. I was the uncle my nieces and nephews used as a jungle gym. The only problem was they were only a few years younger than me. That and I'm a lot like Noah, not Bo. I did love the Yankee Trade. You would think that some of Beth's side of the family would be corrupted by Chris's family after all the Christmases spent together, but they all are like they have a stick up their b**ts. Must be grandma's influence. What kind of grandma doesn't like dogs? My grandma was almost Victorian, but she still loved dogs. I loved the story of the shop accident, but Mrsgnomie must not have been doing her job. I don't know why she let you keep the location of the splinter at the love handle and not several inches south of that. 😜

Ohhh! You're making me look like a real seer. I think I need to go out and buy a crystal ball, tarot cards and tea leaves. I just love the humor in your stories. Looking forward to the little guy taking down the big guy. I went out to Makro (Thai version of Costco) to get the big bag of popcorn to read the next chapter. I do like Bo with all his great strength and quirks. Noah seems to have a handle on the guy and there were some sparks in this chapter. I am glad that Bo is going to be close in the future. Noah and Bo may have some excellent skills to help with the big problem ahead. I too expect the boot to fall soon. You have been too kind to us for so long. It's just not natural for you. And the answer is Mayhem. With the introduction of Bo, the word prankster just didn't go far enough. You have now set very high expectations for the next few chapters. I also anticipate Noah's and Bo's introduction. I also predict: Noah Question: Who makes Bo trip, stumble and fall...hard in love. Being the same height as Noah, I learned early on how to get the big guys off balance with my moves, not my weight or height. What a great chapter! I also predict the next few chapters will be filled with fun, mischievous pranks, bad puns and other assorted highjinks. I love this chapter.

That was too hot, but I can handle it! Kyle will have some peace of mind knowing he can protect himself. Jett will make sure he is safe by training him right. Not a fan of guns, but sometimes it just makes good sense to be able to use them in an emergency. I don't see the evil doctor going after Kyle, but he might go after Kim or even Megan. Kyle's ability to use a gun might save them from the psychopath. Well done chapter.
