He was a brilliant mathematician, and his work on computers and theories about AI was way beyond the grasp of his contemporaries at the time. If his contributions had been recognized publicly, he might not have had to suffer the tragic persecution he suffered when the police discovered that he was a homosexual.

You are welcome. One of the places that caught my eye was Churchills. Has it changed much over the last eleven years? It was an interesting place that was important to some of the characters in the story.

You are so right about the adjustment being difficult. Stacy and Max have created a stable and loving environment in their home, which Michael and Charlie are now benefiting from. It has been a while since they lived in a similar environment created by their mother. Given all that they have experienced between then and now, I believe it will take some time for them to adjust.

I love that there is no time delay between books! Now to start the next book/chapter in Greg and Scott's story.

This is a good start, with Greg deciding to make his brother his son. One nice thing about a rewrite, other than it is so much better, is that there is no waiting for long months between stories. I don't even have a chance to forget more minor characters, let alone the plot. Maggie will be a good support, but her heritage might include both temperament and dry humour. She should be a great fit. I can see her standing up to Greg if he says something stupid, but also devotedly loyal to him.

I am very impressed that Otis could let Jackie know that Otis only considered Jackie a friend. Jackie, however, is not the type to let this go, and Otis gives Jackie enough information to track down Hudson. I wonder what he will do when he finds that Hudson is also Vegas. Like others, I see trouble ahead.

Arnaud connecting with old friends and helping them now just shows how little he has changed. The same applies to Colin as he decides to prepare Pierre's home for a family. Unfortunately, the problem that is Christian is still ahead of them'

I skimmed the comments enough to know @Mrsgnomie went MIA, only to find out she's a bit forgetful. I hope that phone is recharged soon. I am pleased that Asa escaped and Caleb has him back. However, I am not happy with what Huntington did by creating monsters. Huntington still has those traps set for Sebastian's people, and Asa doesn't know how he was captured in the first place. Going back to capture a monster may be vital, but they should at least check all possible sources of information, meaning Cassiel, to see if they can find out about the traps. I am also royally pissed that Huntington is targeting Vann.

Re-forging is the second book in the "New Reality" series. It is a well-written story of Greg as he transitions after his death and turns. Greg has accepted his new reality and is beginning to build a new reality with the support of friends and family. You should read the first book, Rebirth, before this to understand and appreciate the complexity of the series. My highest recommendation.

Greg has gone from being an only child to being an orphan and a big brother. The loss of his father, Charlie, was sad. Greg's lawyer, Mike, thinks getting custody of Greg's brother will be difficult but doesn't know the power George and James have to make it happen now they know that Greg and Scott want to raise the baby. I am looking forward to the next book eagerly. Thanks, Justin.

Doing well. I had a contractor in to replace an LED light strip over the kitchen counter and replace burned-out ceiling lights. I used to do things like replace the ceiling lights, but my balance on a ladder isn't good anymore. At least labour costs here are low; an hour-and-a-half job only costs 43 AUD. It didn't hurt that the contractor and his assistant were both cuties. How's your preparation for Christmas coming along?
