Hi Page! Hope you got rested last night!
-
Interesting start to the story. I did feel that Darien was being set up. Braddock's help sure fits that theory.
-
Jed is the very young Enforcer of a very young, new pack of mostly gay wolves. He is recovering slowly from a poisonous wound he got protecting the alpha-mate, Parker, from an insane rogue wolf. He is re-evaluating his slutty past, hoping to find his true mate and experience the same kind of love his parents and his alpha Colton have. It's a lonely existence until the new leaders of Timber Pack go to the Conclave of packs. There Jed catches the scent of his mate. However, there are major problems ahead. Jed, Parker and their alpha Colton face many dangers on a thrilling and adventurous ride. Ron Colton is an excellent writer and proves it in this well written book. His characters come to life and march into your heart. His plot is exciting with many calculated and fascinating twists. This is a ride for your life. It is equal to the first book in this series, Timber Pack Chronicles. Both books are classics on GA and very enjoyable reading. Five Stars all the way.

I hope there is still hope for a third book in this series.
-
I like this little coda to the story. I cleared up a few things that were close to the success of the new pack. Chris is now adopted. Buzz and Jed have completed their mating. Colton has graduated and is now officially responsible for the peace of the town of Timber.
-
An adoption, a proposal for marriage, three new pack members and a long awaited consummation of mates. It's been a great journey and I enjoyed it immensely, My kudos to the author for a very creative adventure romance. I loved the richly crafted characters and the amazing plot that had me riveted the entire time.
-
I was disappointed that Buzz and Jed did not complete their mating before Shauna showed up. Other than that, this was an excellent chapter. I was happy that Jed took out Shauna's lover. I hope she suffers a lot from her wounds that will heal slowly during her pregnancy. It servers her right for the evil she has done. Hate Derek, but at least he knows what Shauna is doing and put her in her place.
-
I too worry that the witch Shauna will show up before Jed and Buzz are mated. Buzz only has to say two words at the right time. "Bite Me!" Buzz has already been made a member of the family. Jed should make it official and final. Great chapter full of great scenes. I especially like Buzz finding his lost shirt. It was both funny and touching.

A return to a more normal and relaxing place. I loved the humour injected into the chapter. Jed's family are so much fun. Buzz thinking of the boys as Russian stacking dolls had me . The discover of the dossiers of local wolves makes me certain that Parker's father is a Hunter or working extremely closely with them. It would be nice to check in with what Miller has found out from the computer, and also what he is currently thinking about a certain young wolf. I wonder what that young wolf is also thinking about Miller, even if they haven't yet met. A nice chapter for a breather. It helps readers recover and build some strength for the next rollercoaster ride.

One hour later and still posting? That's straight to bed?????
-
Noted, but I would like to know......is drilling at 3 AM in the morning.
-
Shell's time is coming fast. At least she is home and out of danger. Curtis will have to go back to being her snack butler. Wylie is a feisty little pup. I be he does become an alpha like his soon to be dad. I would have a difficult time if the author chooses to send him off to distant relatives. Jed's family are as awesome as ever. I think Buzz is quickly bonding to Jed's mom. As for Zef? He definitely focuses in on Miller's scent. I think Miller took a hike because he knows Zef is his mate, but still under age. Can't wait to see how this all plays out. Of course, there is still Derek and company to deal with. The storyline flows so well even with the cliffhangers.

Pot, kettle, black! Go to bed! (at least it's improvement on drilling docs.)
-
Awesome rescue. I felt like I was there participating with our pack. Shell is great and stood her ground with the hunter. If only she could shift, I'm sure she would have taken the hunter out. I hope this whole thing didn't accelerate her pregnancy too much. Wylie is one feisty pup. He has already bonded to Parker. Colton doesn't stand a chance if Wylie needs a home. I was surprised about the computer. I bet there are some surprises waiting to be found on it. (Maybe a direct connection to Parker's father?) Miller is the big surprise for me. He is one cool, mean alpha. Colton could learn a lot from Miller, and I hope Colton does. Miller has a lot of experience and smarts. Let's hope he has a few good hackers also. I want to find out what is on that computer. Best of luck to the two new papas (I hope).

I understand, but I found out as a teacher, it is better for my students and myself if the kids are more worn out than me. 😄

Chapter 9: Occupational Opportunity
raven1 commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 9: Occupational Opportunity
It is wonderful to spend time with Cyrus and Kaplan. Cyrus' lecture to Mason was perfect. Mason has been so protective of Vincent that he lost sight of Vincent's power and strength. He also needs to realise that Vincent's confrontation with Stefan is coming sooner than he would like. Great way to update us on Cyrus and Kaplan. I do hope that things work out well when they go to the summit. -
First the good stuff. Buzz has experienced a great change. He now knows he is a powerful wolf. He is also ready to be claimed by Jed. That's great! Colton is not happy that Parker is along, but Parker is more than just an alpha mate, and is determined to protect his pack. I am sure Parker will prove himself more than capable. John is a strong supporter of his family and that includes the Timber Pack. It would seem that there would be more problems for this if Forrest was as bad as some think. He had to send a representative that could be any pack member, but he sent the prime enforcer. Subtle, but send a message. The bad part? Colton and Parker are butting heads...the big ones. Also, this site is suspiciously close to Buzz's old pack. Is there some kind of connection?

I am sure Morgan only has to suggest bedtime. When you two sleep is something all together different.

They are great! I do enjoy reading some of the classics here. It makes it a lot easier when a cliffhanger chapter doesn't weigh on my mind for a week or so. It also fills in the time between postings of current stories I am following. Thanks to other readers, my to read list is now huge!

Absolutely great chapter...until the very end. I also hope that Shell and the baby make it out unscathed. Buzz needs to let the pack know what he found out at the conclave in the Hunter course. It would explain a lot about the current strategy of the hunters. It would also let them know that the hunters are targeting the entire pack or packs in the area. Colton does have a moral responsibility to inform the Forrest View Wolf Pack immediately. Buzz should also tell them about the Hunters use of technology. If Parker thinks about it a lot, maybe he can connect the dots to his father's attitudes, behaviour and constant online presence. I gave this an angry response for what happened to Shell and Curtis. The chapter is excellent in how it turned emotions in a multitude of directions.

Visiting the pack auntie was the best thing Buzz could do. Her last statement balanced the pros and cons of the situation. That meant that Buzz could leave the decision to his heart. His heart made the right decision, go east (then north) to his mate. Jed will get a very big surprise soon. Roy is a goon and deserves Shauna. I bet that they will act outraged by Buzz's escape and challenge Derek as an inept alpha. Advice to Jed: Go for the garage. It will be a great business for the pack and a refuge for Zef.

Howdy All! Sawasdee Khrup! Hope your day was good!
-
OK, so I still can tell you that I noticed the new profile picture, but not give you a bad time about it? Actually, the pic is great. I do hope your bday was awesome.

Just woke up, but doing well even though I was out with Aod last night. Went to see some friends that have a cabaret show. It was fun, but I was out late. Hope your day is off to a good start!

Hi Clo, I hope you are able to get that essay written and it goes well. I remember well how stresses in my life would sometimes cause me to put off doing my work until the last minute. I am sure that you will also be able to work it out. Just remember to relax afterwards. Aod and I are doing well. We went to a gay cabaret show last night. It was fun, but I stayed up too late. Take care.
