Asa and Caleb impressed me with how quickly they have healed the hybrids now in the Montana Pack. The party honoring them was well deserved. I am sad that Caleb's pride is keeping him away from his wonderful son. He should stop being stupid and follow Silas' advice. His gut feeling about Gile's pack was spot on. I hope he and Asa can get there on time to help. Before they leave Montana, I do hope that Caleb and Sebastian realize that the fire could be a diversion to kill or kidnap Vann. Huntington knows that Vann is Caleb's son and Caleb would be deeply wounded if something happened to Vann. Asa's job healing the hybrids is not yet completed. Not only are there still some missing from North America, but others in Europe/Russia that still need to be healed. Another stellar chapter, kbois!

Wow! I hope that doesn't happen here. I don't want a snowy or smokey Christmas this year!

In 50 to 60 years the land will be a huge family complex with kids and grandkids. The guys will probably be able to create their own magical mansion with all the magical powers they have by that time. They might even create a family house like Max has at the North Pole.

I knew that this would be a great new story, however, I didn't think it would be better than the Sidewinder stories. After this chapter, I suspect it may replace them at the top of my list. Jubal and Lucas are the main reasons. Jubal is a survivor and a great person. Lucas is like a healer and intuitively knows how to help Jubal. Jubal's focus in this chapter is entirely on Lucas. The hope that Lucas will survive gives Jubal the strength to do what he must do to keep Lucas' dreams alive. It helps Jubal when talking to Reid, taking care of the livestock, setting out oats for the wild horses, and fighting the physical pain in his chest and abdomen as he scrubs away the blood on the floor. After cleaning himself, it keeps him going so he can once more sit by Lucas. I hope Jubal keeps talking to Lucas to encourage him to come back to him. At some level I believe Lucas hears and can gain strength enough to survive knowing Jubal is there for him. Beautiful chapter, Gary!

This new Charlie Boone Halloween story is another great addition to this universe. Kippy wants something creepy or spooky but ends up with both. There's a mysterious haunted house to investigate, a creepy ghost that seems dangerous and our intrepid investigators are out to solve the mystery and eliminate a perplexing problem. This is another must-read story from one of my favorite authors.

A marvellous end to a fun Halloween story, Geron! I've loved every bit of it. Now that Charlie, Kip, Rick and Adrian will have their own home they are going to have a Christmas party that will be awesome. A magical home for a magical Christmas. I can hardly wait to see what Nicholas thinks about the house/god. The quick fix to the problem was good. I also like how Castor played out the tale as a series much like you would see on Netflix. Cleverly written! It was fun to visit the lower level, and the reunion between Martin and Emma was very sweet and moving. I am sure that Mildred will enjoy her travels, but hope she goes to the Christmas party also. I think she and Max would have a lot to talk about.

Wow! I got a great Max story and didn't have to ask for it this time. It's interesting how the kid changed when he realized how difficult it is to dance. I hope he makes a great lab partner for Max now he has gained some insight. The day extra day off from work means you have time to fill tomorrow. Any plans for it?
