  1. Holy sh%% Gary. That was some powerful stuff. I read it twice, then I read it to 16 year old daughter, she also said WOW. That you hurt really sucks. That you have this gift doesn't. For us. If I had a magic wand, I would take it away.
  2. Well, I can't "like" it. But I can understand it and appreciate it. You have a gift, my friend. The gift of putting words to emotions and feelings that are usually the very things that leave us speechless. Life is not always pretty, nor easy. But it's been said that you can't appreciate the light/beauty without the dark/ugly. Thank you for sharing your heart with us.
  3. James congratulations! 13 years! That's really fabulous! Added to your brother doing better, yes that makes a good day!
  4. So, we have Brad being aggressive in his language, and somewhat in his actions. We know, because we know CJ so well, that CJ's noticed. And that smoking habit. This, we think, will not be as smooth a transition as we all hoped. Then, bombshell at the end if you caught it, CJ being aggressive at the dojo. Hmmmmm...... So, now we wait. And CJ stews on things. And all we can do it make our educated guesses....... Well done, Carlos, well done.

    Chapter 5

What. A. Wonderful. Ride! Thank you so much for the gift of this story. I thoroughly enjoyed every syllable! Matt is like so many LGBTQ people I used to work with. Having to hide in plain sight. Thankfully, they, like Matt, were finally able to be who they were meant to be. Eric is so mature! What a fabulous man he grew into! And that family! We need more of them in real life. Thanks for sharing them with us! Molly

    Chapter 4

I've just binged on this story. I am so loving it! Can't wait for the next installment!
  7. Tim's work hits you in all the feels. You never really know what emotion will be wrung from your soul when you read Tim. The only thing you know for sure is that you will feel. There is a raw anger evident in some. Heartbreak in many. And LOVE, so much LOVE. His love of his mother, his pup, and his guy. I've become a real fan, and I'm glad he's here. Molly xoxo

    Meat

I love that you finished out Emmett and Zeke's night with a really good morning. I hope that Emmett and Huan-Yu can find common ground or that house may get a little tense! Emmett seems a steady kind of guy, can't wait to meet his family more. Again, thanks for introducing them to us! Molly

    Inked

You have a way of making the characters who inhabit your stories/worlds jump off the page. It's as if they are people we know, or at least have seen "that guy." These two, I'd like to get to know better. I know artists like Canaan, and people like Ryker. The ones who appreciate the art form. I know I say it all the time, but thanks for introducing them to us, and sharing your gift with us. Molly
  10. Overwhelming Emotion indeed. Wow. I've read through it twice now, and both times there we moments, both different, when it actually took my breath away. Well done.
  11. Oh Tim. I am so very sorry that one persons comment put you in that place. I'm so very thankful that you have this circle of friends, this quasi family, to support and encourage you. It would appear that we've got your back! Molly xoxo

    Adieu

My heart ached when I read this the first time. A second read through didn't help. Then I followed the reviews. "What I write means nothing..." surely you can see by the reaction that your words do mean something to more than you. "I tire of the mediocrity..." of course you do! Because you want your work to progress, to grow. "So I shall no longer write poetry to share..." but please please still write. Even if it's just for you. Write it, save it for the future you. We've all been blessed by your words at one time or another. Your presence here is a gift to all of us. Please don't take that away. But if you do decide that is what you need to do, then know I will miss you, but it won't make me care for and about you any less. Molly xoxo
  13. Well hello there CJ! Good to have the guys back Carlos. I'm looking forward to following CJ's latest adventures. Lunch on Friday's will be so much better!
  14. Sasha...Welcome back! An eventful time for you and Cris! I had been thinking about you and had just finished re-re-reading American Songbook and look who posts a new story! Congratulations on everything! Molly
  15. Tim, we've talked about this, you and I. Seeing it here, and reading the responses makes me think about it again. It's been a life of interesting twists. Some wonderful, some really awful. Maybe this weekend I'll look at journals......and a nice pen. Thanks for sharing these thoughts. It's as I said before. What you write causes people to think. Molly xoxo
  16. Welcome back! It was good to catch up with the guys and know that their lives are moving ahead. Ryan's reactions to Clayton's "inner geek" is great. Even though, in your wonderful style, that gentle ribbing isn't detailed, I can "hear" it. Looking forward to the rest of the journey. Thanks again for sharing them with us. Molly
  17. What this poet writes moves people. It moves people to comment because the feelings are SO strong they are MUST come out. They demand to be shared. To make themselves known. The words move people to think. To think about their own lives. Their own loves. I've said it before, I'll say it again. Thank you Tim, thank you for sharing your gift with us. Molly xoxo
  18. Your way with words moves me. This time first to a smile, and the second, almost to tears. Thank you, again, for sharing your gifts with us.
  19. I hadn't even realized that this was a "thing" ! I'm going to have to go back through and read some. Thank you for taking the time to do this, I learned some about 3 authors I know, and one I'll have to look for now.

    The Jar

Oh Tim! That was wonderful! What a horribly delightful tale! I'll be checking all the stoneware jars at the local thrift and antique shops much more carefully!

    Chapter 4

I've just found the story, and I read it at lunch today. On my teeny, tiny phone screen! I love this take on shifters! I can't wait for more. The description of Kraig in the tub was heartbreaking, His stomach was concave under my hand, his hipbones jutting against his skin. How painful it is to see the one you love suffering so. Thank you for sharing them with us!
  22. If you write I'll read it and feel blessed you chose us to share your gift with.
  23. The first M/M shifter stories I read were Rob Colton's. Then Sasha's. They were a wonderful introduction to the genre. Then, I found Meta. I was/am fascinated by JAR's take on it. I have been reading since the beginning and have a love/hate relationship with the cliffhangers that he uses, lol! While I am a pretty new member, I do highly recommend these stories.
  24. I think that Cowboy Summer was on of the first stories I read on GA! I'm very excited for you!
  25. I was so pleased when I saw this! I can't wait to get to know Chet better! I also can't wait to see what they have planned as retribution for M & K! Thanks so much!
