How will Kiorl react to having to work for what he wants? Hard to say, can't wait to watch the drama (oh it will be drama) unfold!

How To Build The (Almost) Perfect Christmas?
mollyhousemouse commented on Mikiesboy's blog entry in Mikiesboy's Blog
tim, I'm so glad that your Christmas turned itself around. Having a plan is a great idea! Let someone (Mike) know what the plan is so he can help you execute it. -
I already have Chris Pratt cast in the role of Coop. Will they start raising horses, all from Cholo the stud? Will they move to Wiley's place? Will they sell it and stay in their idyllic valley? If these two fine fellas and their lives make the occasional appearance, I wouldn't mind it one bit. Nicely done, Gary

Gary, the people who inhabit your stories are so very real! They are people we could know. And that weather! Growing up in Northern Colorado, I know storms like that. They can be really scary and come up just that fast. Reading about it made me grateful that I'm in Central Texas now, lol! Thanks again for sharing them with us.

2016 Special Anthology: Rewind * Now Live *
mollyhousemouse commented on Renee Stevens's blog entry in Gay Authors News
Grown up work clothes, off and in the hamper. PJ's and fluffy socks, on. Supper, eaten. Cold beverage, at hand. Let the reading begin! Authors...Thanks for the words Gary...Congratulations! Support team...Thanks for giving of your time and talent Mann...Thanks for the artwork, it's beautiful -
Oh Tim! What a lovely way to end this story. Terry has a wonderful heart. To know that Dave needs time to mourn. Without pressure. And how brave Dave is! To take a chance on Terry. To trust Terry with his heart on that walk, "hand in hand and side by side." Of course it's not the end! Their love will go on blooming! Barry and Cathy's baby will be born. Who knows, there might be a baby in Dave and Terry's future. But that, to me, is what a good story does. Makes the reader care about the inhabitants of that world. Even if we don't hear from them again, we know that their world goes on. Thanks again for sharing them with us!

It really isn't about the destination, is it? Selfishly, I hope the trip lasts a long, long time. Or there are many more trips in the future. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.

My heart breaks for Dave. And for Jim, for having to tell Dave. And even for Terry. They all love Dave, and it's hard to see someone you love in that much pain. Another review nicknamed Cathy, "mayor Cathy" that's pretty close to what's happening! Their little community seems to be off on the right foot. Well done, Tim, well done.

Oh, Tim. Hard to tell who saved who in this story. But isn't that also real life? Thanks again for trusting us with your story.

I didn't realize polar bears were blind... I mean, even Rye can see it. I'm so glad that Jian is patient, hmmmm, is that a tiger trait? Thanks Sasha

I loved the conversation between Cesar and Owen. If Owen wants this to work, he's got to change the way he thinks. CJ amazes me. My twins are his age, and while they have, from time to time, bought dinner for us, they are more concerned with GPA's and logging volunteer hours. Heck, we've never even had one of the "date" yet. I do admire the way Brett and Cesar have let CJ in on the family finances. While we aren't in their tax bracket, we've done that too. We feel it de-mystifies the way the world works. Looking forward to the rest of the trip! Molly

Well, that makes 4, or 5, times that I've read Ladies Man. The video from the song inspiration was on yesterday morning, so this is where I started my weekend of self-indulgent reading. Ashlee and Clem never fail to make me happy. The fact that I live so close to Ausitn, that I know, I just KNOW that I have seen them somewhere. Lakeline Mall, perhaps? 6th Street, late at night? The Wolf Ranch Farmers Market? Thanks, Sasha! Molly xoxoxoxo

What a wonderful way to start! I will wait as patiently as I can for Part 2. Now, however, my itch for ink has intensified.... Thanks again for sharing your talent! Molly

Well done! William King mentioned that this sounds like a Western. It does. Mad Max meets Sergio Leone. Hurry up Tuesday! Molly

Why is it that other people can see what we can't? Rye knew, heck even Zeke figured it out. Em? Clueless. For the most part. I mean, after the last night at Zeke's he was getting closer to figuring it out. Either way, what a satisfying chapter. Now, how will it move forward? Oh the anticipation!

What a very sweet peek into their world. Isn't having a sweet boyfriend the greatest? Thanks again, Sasha!

What a great way to spend my lunch hour! Today. I held off on reading this as I always get a bit longer for lunch on Friday, my manager is out of the office at noon on Friday Thanks for remembering that CJ is just 16, same age as my twins, yikes. I love the comments from Owens sister at that last dinner. Thanks...

Will He Never Leave Me and Questions Without Answers
mollyhousemouse commented on Mikiesboy's story chapter in Will He Never Leave Me and Questions Without Answers
These two pieces affected me in a way that I can't explain. I don't think I have the words. Please know that I read them, they affected me, and I feel blessed that you are in this world. Molly xoxo -
What a great little story! It's like one of those great old episodes of The Twilight Zone, or The Outer Limits! Nicely done Tim!

Crying demons.....never a good thing. Not as much scary as really, really sad. I do so love all the guys in the house, but Kiorl, maybe because he's a panther, has always been a favorite. Glad that he gave himself permission to cry, now hoping that he acts on the knowledge he gained in doing it. Thanks again, Sasha...

Holy sh%% Gary. That was some powerful stuff. I read it twice, then I read it to 16 year old daughter, she also said WOW. That you hurt really sucks. That you have this gift doesn't. For us. If I had a magic wand, I would take it away.
-
Well, I can't "like" it. But I can understand it and appreciate it. You have a gift, my friend. The gift of putting words to emotions and feelings that are usually the very things that leave us speechless. Life is not always pretty, nor easy. But it's been said that you can't appreciate the light/beauty without the dark/ugly. Thank you for sharing your heart with us.

James congratulations! 13 years! That's really fabulous! Added to your brother doing better, yes that makes a good day!

Girls in Their Summer Clothes
mollyhousemouse commented on Carlos Hazday's story chapter in Girls in Their Summer Clothes
So, we have Brad being aggressive in his language, and somewhat in his actions. We know, because we know CJ so well, that CJ's noticed. And that smoking habit. This, we think, will not be as smooth a transition as we all hoped. Then, bombshell at the end if you caught it, CJ being aggressive at the dojo. Hmmmmm...... So, now we wait. And CJ stews on things. And all we can do it make our educated guesses....... Well done, Carlos, well done. -
What. A. Wonderful. Ride! Thank you so much for the gift of this story. I thoroughly enjoyed every syllable! Matt is like so many LGBTQ people I used to work with. Having to hide in plain sight. Thankfully, they, like Matt, were finally able to be who they were meant to be. Eric is so mature! What a fabulous man he grew into! And that family! We need more of them in real life. Thanks for sharing them with us! Molly
