  4. so...... guess who doesn't have to cook dinner? if you said "well that's easy. molly doesn't!" you would be correct. i was at the office today, texted Number Two Son to take some ground beef out of the freezer this morning. got home, changed clothes & asked where it was. Number Two slapped his forehead & said "Well, I guess I'm buying dinner." so yeah, no cooking for me tonight, lol!

  22. my dear DiC family, i'm sitting here tonight with some celebratory hot wings, and an adult beverage. Phil and i saw his retinal specialist today. you'll remember in March the news wasn't good. on April 7 He had an injection in the left eye. today's appointment was set to do a scan of both eyes and see if the swelling, etc. had stabilized. i am happy to report that His eyes are "stable to mild improvement." He'll go again in 3 months for another scan. all in all, a VERY good day. so many of you have been on this journey with us, i wanted to let you know the good news. know the symptoms of diabetes, it could save your life, your eyesight, or that of someone you love
  23. 😮 invest in some clippers? hair ties? the weather has been really off hasn't it?
  24. @Ryan Jones @kbois @Mikiesboy @spyke bugs, just, no. dragonflies, yes, because they eat mosquitos, but everything else, just no snakes? we have them everywhere here in this part of Texas. we haven't seen, or heard, a rattler in this house, but we have in previous ones. the other critters though we've seen them plenty - possums, racoons, mice, skunks (we have a new one at work we can smell it) some mornings we can hear the coyotes, when Number Two was still in high school, we'd see the occasional owl during early morning trips the weather is nice today, the rains will return this weekend but right now it's dry and not too humid water, ick, i can't just drink water it has to be glacial cold, lots of ice, better if it's got ice or lemon or cucumber dinner? it's Friday and i don't usually plan a Friday dinner hope your day has been a good one
