    Chapter 23

Yes the next couple chapters are 'building' chapters for the two of them, including the 'who's room' discovery.

    Chapter 23

Thank you Kye is slowly realizing he someone might truly value him as a person.

    Chapter 23

I actually thought about that!--Ash claiming Kye as his amorato, but then Kye might look at being an amorato again as something negative. We have a couple low key, more romantic chapters coming before the final climax

    Chapter 23

Thank you. Yes, that moment will be rather 'enlightening' for Kye!

    Chapter 22

Exactly. Kye is making progress, but he'll still have some doubts that will lessen as time goes on. Tareth has recognized that Ash is good for Kye and Kye is responding to the viscount, but he'll be there for his brother no matter what.

    Chapter 22

Yes, knowing he went through all he did for nothing but his father's greed is devastating. Until now, he could still hold out hope that his father valued him a little bit for helping with his mother's medication. Ash definitely has fallen hard for Kye, but he knows he has to be careful with him as well after all Kye has been through. He recognizes he needs to use tenderness with Kye, and it's slowing working

    Chapter 22

Hehe, yeah, he has no clue he's in Ash's room. It comes into play in a later chapter And Tareth will have a few words for his father when he sees him again!

    Chapter 22

Yes, he needed to 'break'/fall apart to be able to rebuild himself. And the next couple chapters focus more on Ash and Kye growing closer. So it's coming!

    Chapter 22

Thanks! Actually Will isn't important. He's just another servant. Another reviewer pointed out that there didn't seem to be a lot of 'other' servants besides Sam, Alisha, Tareth and Marcus, so I'm trying to 'mention' a few others so it's more obvious the Sterling household has a full complement of help, that's all.

    Chapter 23

Chapter 23 I was a little surprised when the viscount appeared again as the sun dipped behind the horizon. I knew he had to be inundated with work, especially with both the Count and his steward unavailable to help him. That he took the time to come check on me once more warmed my heart. Tareth greeted him cheerfully, and I was glad to see that my brother wasn't still wallowing in guilt after my colossal breakdown. Our long chat this afternoon had relaxed him, and I felt like brothers aga

    Letter From Tom

Poor Tim. I know Tom was hurting over Tim not thinking of him as more than friends, but to make him live with that kind of guilt is so 'wicked' Great job!

    Bewitched

I think I held my breath the whole time. Poor Oscar must have felt so betrayed by Samuel, but I liked the twist at the end! Great story.

Poor Adam, so much suffering in his young life. Wonderfully descriptive and excellent writing!
  18. Imp was so funny how he irritated Angel! Love the take on the angel/devil on your shoulder. Great story!

    Chapter 22

Chapter 22 "GGAAHHAAASHHH!!!" The incoherent cry wrenched from my throat. All my anger, heartache, and misery that I'd spent years burying under calm, disciplined control... of trying to do what was right, even if it left me feeling wretched and inadequate... of praying it would end eventually... everything I'd held in, afraid to let show... came ripping out of me in one terribly liberating wail. I collapsed in on myself, fisting my hands against the couch, letting the gut-wrenching sobs b

    Chapter 21

Thank you! While painful for Kye, he needed to know what had been happening to truly let go.

    Chapter 21

Thank you! Kye is changing, letting go just a bit, but slowly--because he's still uncertain of just how safe he is. It's a bit of a back and forth for him right now. And yes, this talk was pivotal for Kye. Glad you liked it!

    Chapter 21

Oh definitely. And the romance is coming!
  23. craftingmom

    Chapter 21

They definitely needed that talk to clear the air between them, before both of them can reconnect completely. And Kye does still know a little more than he realizes about Barrett...
  24. craftingmom

    Chapter 21

Oh, Ash will definitely not have any issues hurting Kye's father in some way...
  25. craftingmom

    Chapter 21

Thank you very much. Kye needed this break to happen after all he's kept buried.
