Whats the word? ~ Not being able to remember my name when Im introduced to a hot guy. ~That one of my best friends is being "used" by his roommate ~When my mother tries to tell me what I should do, when and how I should do it. ~When my boyfriend leaves Right after. ~Having to make over 30 Christmas cards and none of them are for me. ~Learning something and then forgetting it a week later(like knitting). ~ A billion other things I dont have the patience to type out.
  4. The only one Ive ever watched was "All Over the Guy" it was really good. It even had "Kate" from NCIS, Sasha Alexander. I had satilite for a short period of time and this came on one of the channels and I recorded it. That was over 2 years ago and I still have the tape AND I still watch it. "Then we went where no two guys should go without a prescription" LOL I love that quote! Ive been wanting to read, and watch, Latter Days but havent been able to do either.
  5. Hope you have a great one!
  6. Puns... Im not usually smart enough to think of any when I actually get a chance to but if you wanna talk about pus, Piers Anthony's Xanth series is all about puns.. For example a girl who repeats the same dance cause the dance is called a "re-done-dance" or a sleeping bull is a "bull dozer". Such stupid puns but so funny. Two zombie are called Dee Composed and Dee Ceased. LOL. Gotta love it.
  7. Does it matter how well the actual art is? I can draw and paint a bit but what I have in mind...I dunno how well it will come out. Ill attempt if it doesnt have to be 100% professional. If you want to see a sample of my painting skills, Im DiamondLeaf on Deviantart.com
  8. I just bought a bunch of books and finished the last last night: "Ransom" - Lee Rowan (Delightful read) "Winds of Change" - Lee Rowan (Sequal to Ransom. As good as the first if not better) "Without Reservations" - J. L. Langley (Really really good!) "With Caution" - J. L. Langley (Sequal. Even better than Without Reservations. I highly recommmend this series.) Seti's Heart - Kiernan Kelly (A bit strange what with the mummy becoming all un-mummyfied but good none-the-less. Forgotten Song - Ally Blue (This was really good as well. I cried.) They were all really good. When I get home, (Im at my parents at the moment) Im gunna grab "Without Resevations" and "With Caution" and read them again. Sorry about the list, Im sort of book obsessed what with being a librarian and all.
  9. I actually made myne. Its one of several Ive made but this one is my fav.The symbol at the end is my logo. Im obsessed with yaoi. I have a HUGE yaoi collection of over 70 Yaois and I keep buying more.

*stops dancing around in circles* YAYS! Dom! Im so happy! Im so happy!*starts dancing in circles again* We have all missed you dearly and it is so very good to hear from you!
  11. Well... I shaved them a couple of times when I was younger but the itching... oh my god! Im just glad my Chris doesnt mind it. Oh, Chris doesnt either, in case you were wondering, though I know what you mean about hairballs.
  12. This is mine, it just leaped into my head. "My son, gay?!" Tossed out. Forgotten.
  13. As was said, previously, I highly reccomend DomLuka. But, I found this Last night and it was so good, though I did cry alot. Before Why, Comes What http://cornercafe.us/text/darkstar/Before_Why_Comes_What.htm
  14. Im not new but I havent been on for about a year or so. Just wanted to say hi to everyone again. Hopefully I'll stay and not go off for another year.
  15. That is awsome to have no regrets at 79. I have so many regrets now, at 23, I cant imagine how many Im going to have at that age. Stay happy.
  16. I had always been a reader and the group home I lived in had a small room full of books so they never took us to a library. When I was 7, my sister's mother (Robin) took me to one and I was like "WOW! I wanna work here." "They dont just read all day. They actually work, you know." Robin told me and I answered with, "Never mind." Hey I was 7! There was the "princess phase", then for a short while I wanted to be a special education teacher. Then when I was 15 my mom told me I needed to stop lounging around the house. It was summer and she gave me a few options and one of them was volunteering at my tiny local library. I loved it! Yep, wanted to be a librarian again. After summer, I kept volunteering and after high-school I got into my community college and I am still taking classes for the Library Technition Certificate. I had a job at the big library where I currently live but got fired(was late 3 times), so now Im Working at the library I orignaly volunteered at. (Im sure that was way more info than you wanted but aww well.)
  17. I agree with Krista, a cabin w/ a working bathroom, at the very least, has to be available. I really wouldnt like mistaking poison-ivy for "safe" leaves, no thank you. And I don't like beer at all... I havent tried many (no more then 4 or 5) drinks, (im so sheltered) but I do Like Smirnof Ice Green Apple. Oh, and Ive only been outta the US once, for 2005s new years I went to Niagra Falls in Canada for 2 days.
  18. It may not seem HUGE but believe you me, finding Aladdin was HUGE for me. My Ma even went so far as to say it was "fate". Youll be raising those three kittens and finding them homes. I bet it'll be a big deal to the kittens' future owners, not to mention the kittens themselves.
  19. What about the ones who dont drive yet? Why dontcha'll come on down(up?) to Connecticut. There are more than enough woods here and then I could actually go instead of riding my cousins bicycle ALL the way to the UK and/or Austraila. Im a bit shaky on how Im susposed to ride a bike accross the ocean(s?), you know cause I cant afford a boat either... Hey, I gots an idea! Why dont we all make PortKeys and we can then get tugged by an invisable hook in our belly-buttons to the same place! Like the Moon! Or Mars! Whatcha think?!
  20. In Febuary '05 I got my Aladdin-kitty at the Humane Society. He was only 10 months old when I adopted him and he had been there for about a month. His owner had to move to a different state and could only bring 2 cats with her so she brought the other 2 to the Humane Society. I love my Aladdin-kitty and Im so glad that I went to the Humane Society instead of waiting for my friends cat to have her kittens. I mean, what are the odds that a girl obbsessed with Disney's Aladdin, finds a cat NAMED Aladdin. I love my kitty-baby. Thats a great thing youre doing Krista! In helping these pets, you might even help some other "obsesssed" girl! *huggles* *huggles* Thank you!
  21. "..." Well, here ya go. Though I kinda feel outta place with all the cuties. Well, thats me.
  22. *grabs her cerimonial headdress, lights a fire, and starts to dance around it and chant* IRC, IRC, IRC, IRC, IRC, IRC, IRC. *stops chanting, takes off the headdress, sits down on the couch and watches the pretty fire* IRC looks extremly confusing but if I, one who still doesnt know left from right, (yes Im serious) can use it then anyone over 10 can. When I first started, I was on IRC AND I had an IRC Newbie webpage open so I could do everything step by step. It helped ALOT that it had pictures. After about the first hour I was just about good. I dont know EVERYTHING, but I know enough to get around and not be called a Newbie. And when I forget how to do something, I just find another IRC newbie page to remind myself.
  23. I havent finished it yet. I read for about 4 hours or so then my eyes stopped focusing. Well, it was 8:30am so... I think thats a legitimit reason. I didnt wake up until 6pm and Ive been on my computer since then. I dont have inyernet at my apt but I will ahve the book at my apt, you know? Im only on page 353 and I refused to read any of the spoilers on this thread. I just can't believe
  24. It sounds like no one else has my thoughts... though a few of you guys have nudged mine aliitle. I'm adopted and I personally think just because someone is related to you biologically, that doesn't make them "family". I think if learning about their "suposed" biological connections breaks them up, then thier love wasnt that strong to begin with. I'm actually going to write down the senario just because I get distracted very easily and writing it down will be much easier for me to construct my thoughts around. (Senario) Guy A is cloned to make Guy A2 w/o his knowlage. Guy A gets married to Wife A has Son A. Some where else... Guy A2 gets married to Wife B and has Son B. Son B meets Son A and they have a romantic relationship. First of all, since this is a story, you could have Son B and Son A fight everyone else about why thier relationship is NOT incest. Someone else mentioned that incest has psycological effects as well as birth defects. Since, in this matter, birth is not an issue, lets talk about Psycological. It's one thing if they were dating for a mere 2 weeks, weren't in love and found out, that would be completely understandable if they became grossed out or awkward with eachother. But, if they had been dating for 2 years and wanted to get married so they met the other father at the marrige. I say that splitting the two Sons apart would have a much much bigger effect on thier psycological selves then continuing on with thier relationship. *~* Now if Guy A gets cloned WITH his knowlage and knows about Guy A2 and they talk and the Sons also know about the cloning, then yes, that would be incest. But I don't know how that would effect them psycologicly since they both knew and they both made a concious decision to have "relations" with eachother. I think if you fall in love with someone and you love them with all your might then finding out that you're sorta kinda a little bit related to them, shouldn't make even the tinist bit of difference. If it does then, again, like I said before, they didn't have a strong enough love and a even sneeze could have split them apart.
  25. I found it quite a while ago through Dom's site. Actually I was at Nifty reading the first chapter of The Ordinary Us which linked to his site and then I followed a link to the other chapters of TOU and at the bottom of THAT page was a link to here. Usually my memory is horrible! I cant belive i actually remembered that! WOW!
