Yarima keeps turning up at inopportune times. It makes sense she would rescue her brother's boyfriend. Either Varilik is really sorry about his history with Ain or he's a skilled liar.

Keep in mind we don't yet know what this correction was for. And I'm not implying it was justified. It certainly shaped him to do correcting of his own.
