    Wally / TP is indeed in a very different universe to the one he navigated so brutally and so well. He seems unable to escape a great many new experiences and thoughts, all of which explicitly or subtly condemn the man he had become. These may be a product, or the cause of the changes you observe.     Wally has had enough turbulence in the past two months to provoke some reflection, and some change, certainly. If he is not precisely decent, he is at least trying not to be the man he was. None of us could love that man, the Predator. It is a wonder he could live with himself at all. Your comment about showing sides of ourselves is important, as it seems to me that for a long time, the Predator only saw his own rage and injury in the mirror, and very little else. Many thanks for this commentary, and for reading the story to this point.

    You're right...this kind of horrid drama is hardly news anymore. Poor Stefan is simply the unhappy target of Gunnar's endless and unstinting rage, made worse by his being James Ackerman's victim, too. And all the principal can do is treat poor Stefan with distaste. How awful.

    You're right about the time of year. I am so beset by melancholies today, and I hoped Remorse would draw them out. Your response is heartening.     I love this review. It made my day, I can tell you. Yes, making people speechless is a perfect title here, too. All those lovely moments of springing the surprise on friends were just too good to pass up without a description. Bruce's father must have fled Blackburn as quickly as possible, and yet all Mrs, M has to say is that it wasn't surprising. To some extent it shows how much a person's substance and character count in this town, and why Andy fit in so well in Blackburn. And any one of us who has dealt with disapproving functionaries could smile at the marriage license scene....Again, many,many thanks for your acute and perceptive review. I am blushing still.

    Well, the tumor driven paranoia and insanity you depict in Logan are frightening enough. How hard it is that the very pack they set out to contact puts our boys in life threatening danger. Very hard to read this without gulping down heart medications!

    TP Wally was very lucky someone like Javier was present and day to help at the right moment. A very lucky man, really. But TP Wally will continue to have some form of trouble as long as that video is out there...the best he can hope for is that it gets old, and the, er, viewing public moves on. As tim put it, the past never stays dead.
