I want to thank you for several things I this story. Your characters are engaging and artfully drawn. And for once, we have a sympathetic father...no chilly indifference or homophobia, just simple, almost understated, firm and loving support. Clint may have had a bad day, but his father may be right. Go for the rainbow cast. Awesome.

Jason's reaction to Corey is both a sign of how he's changed and a signal that he's got yo reflect on the way he's feeling. Perhaps Jason will be able to act on the knowledge that honesty with himself and with Corey is better than any amount of artful dodging and hiding. This was a great chapter, and perfect that Zach did nothing more than excite Jason's protective spirit.

Hard to believe Alex is over. Alex took all that so much more calmly than I anticipated. No histrionics, no hurricanes or tidal waves. And her comment that they have to get David back with Twoey? Incredible. But at least it's done. But Gary is beginning to scare me. What's his game with questions that shouldn't be answered? And Twoey certainly seems happy with Erik, even if everyone else isn't. Maybe David should let Donny show him a few benefits, and help him forget Twoey, as Twoey certainly seems to have forgotten about David. -
This is such a searing and dark tale. I was hooked right away. Your storytelling just gets ever better, Tim. How do you stop a man like Jack? Really, what would end his pathological violence and abuse of Tom? As you so skillfully show, Tom isn't going to do it. You pose a dreadful dilemma, and John's solution is horribly messy. But the question remains. Perhaps another snapshot of this tale deserves to be told.

Very, very nice. Corey and Jason had a great rebuilding experience, and Corey is finally beginning to articulate a desire to see their friendship more fully repaired. Perhaps that's a sign of maturity in both of them. The hand on the back gesture from Jason was priceless, IMO, and if Zach had seen it, well, there's a pretty good trigger for a jealous ex reaction that you painted so well. That man is a dark cloud on the horizon threatening a nasty storm. Great chapter, and looking forward to another...

David is confused....not surprising, given everything that had gone on for the past 15 weeks. The questions from ch 104 remain here in 105. Will David be able to repair his relationship with Twoey? Even if David figures out his sexuality, can he pull it apart from the flashbacks and dreams of a terrible childhood experience to be of any use to anyone, whether it be Alex, Donny or whoever? If David survives Telling Alex anything, perhaps telling his therapist would help, but the geometry of relationships in David's brain is beginning to take on graduate-level mathematics. Still kind of wondering what Donny's game is...and Danny's warning continues to re-echo in our minds...need another chapter, right away. -

What a thrilling chapter. Can't get the picture of the hunting camp out of my mind, or of Liam getting ready to slay Roger with his hands. What happens to Josh? His story and role in all this must be murky, even poisoned, from Liam's point of view. And what will Galen think? Will forgive you the cliffie...this once...on condition we get the next chapter ASAP.

Eric has nobody to talk with, nobody to share with. Yet he has powers of description, and a need to write. His journal is the only outlet he's ever had. Services are out there, and often sufficient for the needs of individuals in trouble, but often enough those individuals must apply for them, show up for them, make themselves known. Eric has no wish to be known or noticed, quite the opposite. And he's perfectly content to be forgotten if that means he can be left alone. Thank you for your comments and thoughts today...

Deep self hatred, deep bitterness, deep rage, all on display. It is painful to read, yet all too real. In a month it is still raw, still only beginning to mend around the edges. Perhaps. Was. He really worthwhile, ever? Was he ever loving and lovable? I think so, but I'm waiting for more story in the story. Thank you.
