You're so right. i crave silence. You are right that noise is everywhere and all the time. i get up early, there are birds at that time, but to wish them to be quiet would be simply foolish. Thank you, @pvtguy for reading and for your comments.

Thank you, Gary. i rather like that one myself. Thanks for reading!

Thank you very much, chris! xo

Thank you. And thank you for your support!

Thank you, Parker. I'd never heard of the Monostich before and was surprised how challenging it was. I'm sure you'll give it a whirl! I'm also happy that you liked the sonnets. They are a struggle for me, but I'm kind of pleased with them both. I feel the same way. Thank you for your support. Doing this isn't easy, but I'm lucky I have more time now, so I think, in the end, the poetry was better.

We bought a bunch of sweet potatoes last week, when they were $0.77 a lb... i steamed them and then froze them. I like to make pancakes with them and some oats.. and eggs. I'll be eating some this week, i think.

Gosh that was fun... i went in, Michael popped into the grocery store nearby and i was finished and waiting before He got back. He only bought a loaf of bread (so i don't have to rush to make some..but i probably will on Saturday). The grocery store is in the same mall. The freezing is coming and it's starting to be a bit painful... however, i'll live. i hope i don't have to do this anymore...

Cheesy scrambled eggs. Stewed fruit (apples and pears poached until soft in water, cinnamon and a little splenda brown sugar). Mashed veg like sweet potato, frenched green beans, mashed carrot. Oatmeal or cream of wheat. Applesauce, jello, yogurt. Soft proteins are eggs, fish, ground meats.

Mikiesboy commented on Parker Owens's story chapter in April 28th - April 31st
I enjoyed each of them. Favs are the Sea Song and To The Green. and of course, thanks for adding the extra day to the month of April! -
This is excellent. It has been a pleasure getting to know @lawfulneutralmage and working with him. If you haven't yet read Special Circumstances, you should. It is a wonderful story.

Happy Wednesday ... i'm a bit on edge after not sleeping long enough (not because i didn't try), and i have a headache and i'm going for an extraction at the dentist in a couple of hours, so this one just isn't working for me.. but maybe it's good for one of you.. Have a good Wednesday...

Thank you, chris. I appreciate your support over this crazy month of poetry (and always)!

You're very kind, Parker! i'm glad the month is over. I'd said for ages I wouldn't do this again, but look.. i must be insane. Thanks for your support over the month!

<><><><> 28: Write about silence A poem without rhyme a free-flowing stream A reflection of life both harsh and serene In the quiet we find our hidden voice A symphony of silence is the ultimate choice. 29: Sonnet of Solitude In solitude, a poet writes his verse With no one to share or to understand His words are as seeds in a sterile soil They seek connection in desolate land. The silent hall holds no light

Definitely not sure about this one, but not in a bad way. LOL, Happy Tuesday!

Maybe. He's not 25 now and seems to make money with his books and other things, but like judging a film by its box office, how much you make is no guarantee of quality. However, I haven't read his books or heard him speak.

Good morning. Not sure how i feel about this one. Some people may have no real choice, some of us are happy with the sameness of life, rather than what we had before. Robin is a Canadian ex-lawyer turned motivational /life expert after giving up law at 25. I am sort of suspicious of these life experts who at the grand old age of 25 give up their career to write about how people should live.

Yay! That's great. I hope you enjoyed it!

Hmm.... typing something?

These young men projected so much onto her, one even claiming that God had sent her to be his wife, but none of them seemed interested in Lynne as a person, none of them looked further than Lynne’s attractiveness. i found this very telling and sad. Lynne is a beautiful human being who saw you for who you are as you see her. Thank you for sharing this lovely tribute to her.

<><><><> 21: Write about something made only on Earth Do donuts dare to be made elsewhere? Can you find them in the great out there? Do Alphacenturians meet for brunch or rather, perhaps, have them at lunch? As far as we know, other worlders aren’t aware of these sugar-glazed rings we love to prepare. 22: Write about a Headache Pounding in my head Silent screams, a dull throbbing A headache's cruel gift
