Hey!! Happy New Year, my friend !!!!
-
Today, i was called a liar by a customer who said their balance wasn't under the required minimum.. when it was. Another said: I want you to return my rent cheque because it has overdrawn my account. I stared at that for a second, thinking WHAT? Usually, they beg you not to return them. Doesn't he know that NOT paying your rent is a bad thing? I said go to your branch and ask them to return it. I get the 5 yr old thing. Geez louise. I think, sadly, it's all too normal.

Engineer Benson - Chapter 2 - July 12, 1993
Mikiesboy commented on Wayne Gray's story chapter in Engineer Benson - Chapter 2 - July 12, 1993
Yeah, i don't think this story can do much other than darken at least for a bit. Wayne and Mark have a journey ahead of them. Not sure leaving Pamela or any of them alive is a good way to go. But that's easy to say, not so easy to do, i'm sure. i won't say i told you so again, it really isn't necessary is it? Haha -

hahaha i like socks ... i just ordered more! and sweaters and a new cozy warm robe ... i feel cold often, even in the middle of summer sometimes. Michael on the other hand wears shorts indoors all year round and a t shirt and even then sometimes He's too warm. Donate your socks to your frozen iguanas!!

Thanks, Chris ... we got everything finished Thursday morning. Michael is walking a couple of dogs for injured and very pregnant friends as they should not be out in this mess. Luckily, the dogs aren't too excited to be out in it either so they get out and back asap. Michael said, Stay HOME, do not drive or walk in this unless there is a life threatening emergency. And then call for help! We cannot see outside our windows as they are covered in frost. i start to feel a little entombed when it's like this. But i'll get over it. It was a quick change yesterday from mid 30s f, here to 9f. The wind is insane, just non stop. But it'll stop at some point too. Everyone stay safe (and sane). I am going to bake some gluten free mince tarts today, start on the annual trifle that we bring ... hopefully we can get out of here tomorrow. There's a couple of little things to wrap then done for the afternoon. Happy Christmas Eve Day!

Hope you all are doing okay. I'm done with work now until the 27th. Keeping busy knitting hats for charity. Gonna see if can master mittens .. i've knit a few pairs of fingerless ones with thumbs so a full mitt should be okay. Anyway my days off will be filled with baking, and fudge making to be ready for the big day.

Flaws in our work are great teachers, i think. Time after Time ... dear lord oh, man that one. As you may have guessed, i've been there and done that. What a nightmare and did i learn my lesson, H E double hockey sticks, yes. The story is still on here as it was written, i don't believe in rewriting my history. It was a great story until that moment. I cringe even thinking about it. I think some passages of time can work, and I've used them successfully in some stories. When? Mainly, when there was no real reason to write those 3 months, it would have been more of the same. The passage of time wasn't used to fix anything in those situations. I've enjoyed both of your Cheating articles. Thank you for your time, effort and support of authors on GA.

Enjoy your well earned time off and your time with your sis!!

i can relate to some of the cheats listed. Maybe not leaps and bounds so much any more, but yes, once upon a time for sure. I am an A to Z writer. I cannot plot stories out. If i do, then in my head the story is told and i lose all interest in it. I need to start with a sentence and go from there. It's odd when you talk about having normal things in your stories. It's why when I wrote Changes, i was surprised by people's reactions to it. It's about two guys who got married and how they overcame one's serious accident. It's so everyday. People deal with these situations all the time. I truly thought no one would read it. i was wrong. Thanks for this. Very interesting, as are the other author's responses.

Yeah, i like that size turkey as well. We go to Michael's parents for Christmas dinner. MY MiL cooks two turkeys that size because they stay moister. And there's enough legs for all who want them. LOL.

Thanks for asking. Yes, He's much better. We saw the specialist and they did a biopsy. Gave Him anti itch pills for day and night so He'd be more comfortable. The doctor also prescribed special cream for faces and folds and then a large tub of the Michael calls, medicated axle grease. It's very thick. Also special cleansing oil and a moisturizer. When we went back the doc said the biopsy shows it is eczema but a kind that is brought on by drugs. They think it could be the Janumet He takes. He needs to fold himself into the bath several times each week and use the moisturizer. He's stopped taking the anti itch pills and seems to be doing okay. The doctor said if you think it could be returning, see your doctor right away and discuss other medication options. So, we'll see. Possibly, the bathing and creams will keep it at bay.
