I am up early to cook my greek chicken thighs which we will have for dinner tonight. OMG they smell so good. Having an iced coffee too.. first of the season! It's nice and gray out there so maybe it won't get so hot today.

you're not the only one who teared up at this news. it's such good news and yes.. learn the symptoms ... xo

i have a beard...which is kept very short. And my hair cannot be too short or too long under normal circumstances.

It doesn't always work with readers ... this evolving/expanding thing. I've learned that and even thought, albeit briefly, about going back to a tried and true world to make readers happy, but i can't do that. Not and stay true to what i believe writers should do, which is to write bravely. I think i do that. I've written lots of different characters, some fantasy and a bit of sci fi, comedy, drama, lots of different things, some more successful than others. I struggle being okay with that, but, I'm working on it. So, thanks for this. It confirms I'm on the right track and heading in the right direction. It also confirms that writing for yourself—writing the story you’d like to read—is the way to go.

His is getting long too... i think His mom has clippers.. likely not sharpened since He was little. I think scissors are a better bet.

we see foxes, raccoons, skunks, rabbits .. .there was the large 10pt buck incident a few years ago, too. But that's the only time i know of. We get lots of stink bugs.. omg they are ugly things and they stink. it's too damn early for this heat.. but we buttoned up the place and it's gotten rather breezy and cloudy.. so maybe there is hope ... They are saying no haircuts until august!!!! man bun? Alice band? Give Husband scissors?

Over 91f with the humidity, atm. Salad plate in order for dinner... romaine lettuce lightly dressed, along with green onion, cucumber, tomato, ham, hard cooked eggs, and a few baby potatoes (done in the IP ). We are both drinking water ... Michael is not a lover of water but likes it if we soda stream it and add lemon. I love the soda stream, much better than bottled waters. Keep cool

of course you were!! @Marty great suggestion. i can see readers crossing their fingers for their fav character and the next chapter... i like it.

That's a nice addition. I can envision a few situations where I'd use that one.

Excellent!! That's great news!!! and we have cicadas up here too. And June bugs (and too many more) and the Massasauga rattle snake. The snake is only found in a couple of places in Ontario. Like other Canadians, it doesn't like trouble, would rather talk to resolve problems, but if pressed, will bite.

yes on lil tiny wings

How? haha

you dont notice it in there. i add it to ricotta for lasagna too just to save a little money.. but we never notice it

Cottage cheese is okay. I use it to make eggy muffins. They are great for Michael's breakfast.. lil quichey things but the cottage cheese makes them really creamy ... they also have oats, green onion, ham..
-
Hemp hearts would be perfect on that.
-
They really are nice. I add them to bread, salads ... lots of things. They are very nice on their own or on peanut butter. Full of lots of good things, you're right. I now buy the biggest bag they offer but they get used.
-
I buy these from Amazon. They are really tasty. Michael eats them on His cereal. You can add them to lots of things.
-
i add hemp hearts, but you can add what you like instead .. I start it in the bread machine on Dough ... then when it stops i take it out to knead it... because the machine doesnt do enough. After i knead it bout 5 minutes, i put it back to let it rise. Then when that's done i knead it again and then shape and into the pan for the last rise.

Bread News... 2 cups whole wheat flour 1 cup white bread flour 2 tsp instant yeast (use 1 tsp if you have time to let it rise longer) 1 1/4 to 1 1/3 c water 1 beaten egg 4 tbsp hemp hearts 4 tbsp large flake oats 2 tbsp chia seeds 2 tsp salt Mix together, knead 10 minutes (by hand or in mixer), try to NOT add more flour. Allow to rise until double in bulk in a warm place (about an hour). Punch down and knead again for about 3 to 5 minutes, until the dough softens. Shape into a rough loaf and put into a well greased large loaf pan. Oil lightly and allow to rise 15 to 20 minutes or until the loaf is just starting to rise over the lip of the loaf pan. Heat oven to 400f .. bake at 400f for 5 minutes and then reduce to 350f. Bake another 20 to 25 minutes. The top should be brown. Allow to sit for a couple of minutes and then remove from the pan. Allow to cool. Fresh bread is amazing, but it does not like to be sliced. Made this one today and it's sooooo good.

Mikiesboy commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
The length is fine and the story is wonderful. Chapters could be a bit shorter but, it's worth the effort. It really is.
