I've written nine or ten books of poetry on GA. Some are good, some not so good. Poetry is my favourite way to express myself. TS Eliot said, "Genuine poetry can communicate before it is understood." I believe that is true. It should make you feel like you are viewing a painting. That's my muddled opinion.

I'm still alive. This year's COVID-19 vaccine knocked the three of us off our feet. Ugh. I feel more alive today, however. And in case you need a reason for a celebration, it's a special day. We celebrate them and their role in the ecosystem...but no hugging, please. Have a lovely Sunday. Here's today's insight:

This is a good one for me...i don't do well in a lot of situations usually of my own making and lack of self confidence/belief. Staying away is my best defence against total breakdowns. And on that happy note, it is Friday, a good day for many reasons. Have a good one folks.

This is a creepy little tale that shouldn't be missed. It has everything you could want: darkness, old stories, and, of course, a black cat. Wait, was there a black cat? Hmm, read and find out. Great job. I thoroughly enjoyed this one!

Protein is important. Don't skimp on it too much. Yesterday, I made grilled boneless, skinless chicken thighs (marinated in light soy sauce, water, garlic, and onion), Asian Cucumber salad, stirfried flat cabbage with onion, and brown basmati rice. Yeah, the brown basmati is sort of out of place, and I love Jasmine rice, but...the brown stuff is better for us.
