    My Brat

Thanks, Backwoods Ambiguity is fun to work with.

    My Brat

Thanks, AC. I've got Zero to Hero saved and need to read it. Was fun writing something that could be totally innocent or not depending on the very last line.

    My Brat

    Thanks, tim
  4. You’re a big pain and brat. The jealously gets old real fast. Dare I say royal ass? Yes, the bane of my existence! Yet you are fun and kind. Knowing when I need a nuzzle, And when to give me space. Helping even my darkest moods. You love it long and hard, Wanting to be ridden for hours. Yes, I hear your complaints, If it is anything but bare. Our private time you crave, Wanting to find secret places, Where we can be
  5. This is wonderful. I don't know anything about this form, but I really enjoy the style.

    Thank you, @AC Benus

    Brighter

This is wonderful. I remember those feelings when I lived in a colder climate. Even with the cold storms I've had lately, it's nice to have sun so the fingertips can warm up.

    Chapter 33

    Thank you as always, Backwoods

    Out

Based on your intro, I was expecting something different in the poem. The happy response from the older gentleman was wonderful, as it the poem
  10. I had to find this after you mentioned it. I've seen the room in pictures and movies, even read about it and the horrors within. Like MacGreg said, this is a powerful poem. It is also a beautifully chilling tribute to those who's screams are still heard. You truly are a brilliantly gifted writer.

Thanks for reading and commenting, Kitt You put it perfectly!

    What is Normal

Thank you, Molly Your words perfectly describe it. For years I've had people ask, "Why can't you just be normal?" My boy says I wouldn't be as fun if I was just another normal clone.

    What is Normal

Thanks @Backwoods Boy Your quote was running around in my head while I was working on this. I just couldn't get it to fit with the syllable count.

    What is Normal

Anytime I make you smile I consider my mission accomplished
  18. What makes someone normal? Is it those who follow like clones, Or try to fit a mold? Maybe it is the unbroken. Who really decides, What is normal and who is not? I happily embrace Those the world says do not belong. The broken ones like me, Who fight their demons every day, For a chance at a smile. Medically and socially, Emotionally too. Mental health affects all of us. They say to take your pills, And it will make you feel normal,

Sadly, it's more common than it should be.

    Rain

Thank you, Jeff. I lived in Bremerton, WA years ago. Where I"m at now doesn't get all that much rain, normally.

    Rain

Thank you, tim. I won't stop if you won't.

    Rain

Thank you, Parker As frustrated as I was when it happened, I could laugh enough to write it once I was showered, dry, and drinking hot tea.

    Rain

Thank you, AC I've been enjoying the Lyric format, but I think Tanka is my favorite. The reference to the super bloom is since the deserts near me have gotten so much rain this winter, the wild flower blooms are expected to be incredible. As mad as I was getting at the horse for laughing, he decided it was playtime. After falling for the third time in the mud, he came over to nuzzle my face and apologize.

    Rain

Thanks BB. I know you've been getting a lot of snow this year. I'd kind of like to see that here, but people don't know how to handle water on the roads. Ice or snow would be a disaster
  25. Depression is the house guest who doesn't know it's time to leave. The acquaintance of a friends, ex's roommate who thinks she belongs at every gathering. There is nothing ugly about you my friend. There is a beauty that shines within you and you're loved for who you are.
