    Something that I learned from the book I just finished reading: the universe tastes of raspberries. Scientists discovered a cloud of gas near the center of the Milky Way Galaxy, which was found to be made up of ethyl formate. This compound is responsible for the flavor in raspberries.

    Dessert and a movie? Always a good way to pass the time when you can't sleep at night. Though, of course, it goes without saying that it shouldn't become a regular habit.

    Yesterday was National Teacher's Day, so Max was allowed to sleep in later than he normally would have, but he still had to go to school this morning.

    Hey, Drewpop! I'm reading They Hate Each Other, by Amanda Woody. It's a great enemies-to-lovers story, if you like that sort of scenario. I especially like that they don't just stop hating each other after two or three chapters, but the ice thaws more slowly.

    The strawberries were fresh from the farmer's market in town. I was pleasantly surprised that they were already available, when the weather has been practically bipolar for the last two months. Max loves any kind of fruit-based desserts, especially strawberries. We also watched Wonderstruck while the galette was baking.

    I was staying up late last night, when Max came downstairs and said that he couldn't sleep. I asked him if something was wrong, and he said, "No, my brain just doesn't feel sleepy." Today was scheduled for a Teacher's Day at school, so I allowed Max to stay up with me. We made a strawberry galette to pass the time, and ate it hot from the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

    I haven't said a word to Max about Korea. I was merely arguing the semantics. Max would love strawberry pie.

    Technically, Russia is a part of Asia. And seeing as Korea is Southeast of Russia, that makes it a part of the SE Asian sphere.

    We're doing good, thanks. I got my work schedule about an hour ago. It looks like my boss brought back some of the "veteran" kitchen help for the summer, since things have started getting busier around the restaurant. On the other hand, it looks like the "salty kid" will no longer be with us. I'd heard him say something about a new job, but hadn't heard any specifics. I wish him the best of luck, though I'll miss having him around. I know Max looked up to him, as well, when he occasionally joins me at work.

    I don't really remember how I got here. I'd read "The Secret Life of Billy Chase", and I wanted to find more stories by Comicality. I think I Googled his name, and GayAuthors was one of the first results on the page. Or maybe it was "gay stories websites" that I searched. 🤷‍♂️

    Wow! Thanks for the "Behind the scenes" look at one of your works, Comsie! It sounds like Esperanto, or maybe Portuguese? So cool! Also, this young man is incredibly talented! I wish I had that kind of skill with baking, but I'm limited to sheet cakes, cupcakes, and Bundt molds!

    You'll need to stock up on food supplies for the troops, but I don't think the cats will appreciate Beefaroni. No matter how much it looks like cat food.

    I don't even have a Twitter account, and Morgan deleted his profile. After hearing some of the news coverage of Mr. Musk's failings as a business man, Max said, "Ew. I don't want a Twitter account when I'm older. If it's even still around in two or three years." He has such a smart head on his shoulders.
