  1. Fun for whom?
  2. Waitaminnit!! What's going on here?! Gavin Casalegno....got married?! WHUT THE ACTUAL F***?!! I mean, don't get me wrong; I'm happy for the dude and his wife. Congratulations, Gavin and Cheyanne! It's just, it's such a shock, you know? There's gotta be so many people, guys and girls alike, who are probably wishing it was them instead. I hope Mrs. Cheyanne Casalegno (neé King) realizes how lucky she truly is to have him. Congratulations, again, guys! I wish you lots of happiness!
  3. Yes, some houses have put up decorations already. And the supermarket has started playing Christmas carols on the speaker system.
  4. Hey, Nick! How are things with you?
  5. Desert Echoes, by Abdi Nazemian. Fifteen-year-old Kam is head over heels for Ash, the boy who swept him off his feet. But his family and best friend, Bodie, are worried. Something seems off about Ash. He also has a habit of disappearing, at times for days. When Ash asks Kam to join him on a trip to Joshua Tree, the two of them walk off into the sunset . . . but only Kam returns. Two years later, Kam is still left with a hole in his heart and too many unanswered questions. So it feels like fate when a school trip takes him back to Joshua Tree. On the trip, Kam wants to find closure about what happened to Ash but instead finds himself in danger of facing a similar fate. In the desert, Kam must reckon with the truth of his past relationship—and the possibility of opening himself up to love once again. My review
  6. Hey, Boom Boom.
  7. @Bucket1 Hey, Bumble B.
  8. Hey, Dugh and Mum.
  9. He thinks you're turning into a tentacle monster.
  10. Oh, right. "Surfing" on the waterbed. Though, Mickey always talked about surfing the waves in Hawai'i, so it could go either way. :shrugs:
  11. Mickey and Remy are in Hawai'i right now. Probably surfing.
  12. Same. I'm just....embarrassed, furious, and appalled.
  13. @dughlas Hey, Dugh and Mum.
  14. Robert Levey was already featured in Issue 91, I believe. But I like the way you think, Jeff. How about these little punks, instead?
  15. Halloween went great. Max and his friends made off with a good haul of treats this year. Max's science lab partner, who had tried to bully Max in the past, turned over a new leaf and was allowed to join their group. Max and Michael were dressed as Morpheus and Neo from The Matrix. The 'new kid' asked if he could dress up as Agent Smith, to which Max and Michael both agreed, surprisingly. Hmmm....it could be too early to tell, but I wonder if Michael might be starting to thaw. 🤞
  16. We do. It's on the other side of town from where we usually do the grocery shopping, so I'm not familiar with Wal-Mart's inventory.
  17. Actually, Michigan has eight species of crawfish, two of which are invasive. We don't really seem to do anything with them, though. *shrugs* When I was a kid, I remember visiting an inland lake that was positively teeming with them. I realized that they like to hide under old freshwater clam shells, so I set up a bunch of the shells as "traps" to catch them. I had quite a few in my bucket, but was forced to release them afterwards.
  18. I have no idea where to even look for crawfish in this town. Certainly I've never seen them at the supermarket. I'd have to check at a specialty shop.
  19. Gawd dammit, Max. One day, this kid's antics will be the death of me, I just know it. His latest food request: Mala Xiaolongxia. (That's pronounced Mah-Lah Shao-long-Shah, if anyone is struggling) It's a Sichuan Chinese dish, and the name translates as "Numbing-Spicy Little Lobsters", AKA crawfish.
  20. Hey, Boom Boom. How's the family? (Glad the battery situation worked out well!)
