    Hey, Terry! Sorry I missed you, when I was the one who asked you to be here! I got caught up with watching Season Two of The Rings of Power. There are many who decry the series as "a betrayal of Tolkien's work". Yes, it isn't an accurate picture of Tolkien's story, but there's something to be said for the visuals and the musical score. In other news, Max is excited to return to school and ballet classes, since he doesn't see much of his friends outside of those circles. He's starting 6th Grade this year, and before too long, he'll be a teenager.

    I would love to visit Redwood National Park. It would certainly be a wonderful sight to behold, as long as I don't contribute to the problems the park is facing. Maybe a trip for next year, with my husband and son.

    So, this kid had another version of this song, from about a year ago, on his first channel. But, in the process of trying to get monetized, he admitted that he lied about his age, and the original channel was deleted. After creating this new channel (within the guidelines this time), he reposted the original video, but then had to remove it, because bureaucracy. SO unfair! Nevertheless, he's a talented singer, and he deserves every respect. I'm sure he'll go far.

    Doing well, thanks. Max is looking forward to going back to school (and ballet) in a few weeks. Tomorrow is my birthday, so Morgan is gonna make a potato and ham gratin for dinner, with a chocolate cake for dessert.
