I watched the whole thing. There are definitely creative differences, compared to the original story. But unlike the movie, I agree with most of these differences.

Can't help you there, sorry. I have yet to watch it myself. Like many Avatar fans, I'm hesitant to watch any kind of remake, after M. Night Shyamalan ruined the first adaptation.

Sorry to disappoint you, but Danny is married, and Lachlan is engaged, set to be married in September. Oh, and that reminds me: Uncle Mickey is also getting married in October.

I love that story, short though it is. I have three buddies from the old neighborhood when I was a kid: a guy named Jessie, who lives on a horse ranch about one mile down the road from my parents' house. And then there's Danny and his brother, Lachlan, who moved into the house across from mine, when I was around twelve or thirteen-ish. Even though we've all gone our separate ways, we still keep in touch, and we meet about once a month or two. Danny is straight, Lachlan is gay, and Jessie is asexual. Almost makes you wonder if there really is something in the water.

Uncle Mickey will be having lunch with us this weekend. Aunt Deirdre is bringing the boys, too. I can't wait to see my nephews.
