    Yeah, I got the job! A few days ago, some gentleman called me and introduced himself (I can't remember his name, because he was babbling), then he rambled for a bit about what kind of attire I'd be expected to wear, and promptly hung up. No mention of what time I should report for work, or where to find the Human Resources office so I can collect my ID badge and give them my accounting number. (Paychecks will be direct deposit)

    I knew he wasn't in the best of health, but I'd assumed he was busy recovering, working on physical therapy, etc. I just...I can't believe he's gone. 😢 The world looks a little less bright without you, Comsie. Rest in peace, my friend.

    I literally just made some potato leek soup the other day! Another way I like to use leeks: Quiche. Bacon and leeks with Gruyere cheese....Yum! 🥓 🥬 🧀 🥧
