tim, having stood on that beach more than once, your words transport me back there. in doing so i find the heart wrenching grief has been replaced with lingering sadness for the loss and a smile for the fond memories. thank you
drew, i'm so sorry. i met my 1st kitty, Charlie, just like you met Guero. and Charlie was male and white! grief is the highest price we pay for love. But if we never feel the grief love can bring, we can never really understand the highest joys that love gives. also grief is a personal thing and no one, and i mean no one can tell you how to grieve. Guero will always be with you, for to live on in someone's heart, is to live forever.
