i took you at your word and didn't read more into than you intended. it reminded me of a tv show i watched, way too many years ago to tell you, called Blackadder.

thanks! i can see the kids angle as well as the adult version when friend's relationship blow up. i do so love it when people share with me, what they see in my writings
beautiful thoughts and words tim. i believe words change things. oh maybe not fast enough for our liking, but like drops of water wearing down a stone, change is made. we never know how, the words we write or the words we speak, touch another's life and change their hearts.

I am the fallout in a war I was not in.
I wandered by, hoping to find a friend or two.
You all opened the door and bid me “come in”.
We laughed, we supported each other.
You let me be me. I found a home.
But, I had no clue of what was to come.
In a war between you and he,
sides were chosen, but not by me.
Harsh words, strong emotions were flung.
