in all reality, isn't every chapter a cliffhanger? some just more explosive than others. if we didn;t like the story we as readers, would stop reading it, cliffhangers or not. i may pout, scream or threaten pitch forks, but in the end i come back for the ride the author is taking me on. i do hate when i really enjoy the story and the author puts it on the shelf without finishing it, some going on 3 years now those deserve the pitchforks moggy

great story! the second reading as good as the 1st. it takes about 14 hours to read in one sitting. i had to slow down to heat food and go to the bathroom i need to find the sequel moggy

as far as guns go, i'm not a fan. i believe they have a place in our society, but for me i choose not to use them. my son was interested in them from a very early age and said he wanted to shoot one. told him he needed a safety course than i wouldn't object. he waited until he was 22 and went with his aunt (who has a conceled carry permit) to the fire range/gun class. so for those who are responsible gun people i say have fun. within this story, the guns make sense just moggy's 2cents

i started reading your 1st story, but left me heartbroken. wasn't sure i would read the 2nd, but gave it a chance. i found the writing good but very dark and stopped reading about chapter 22. i didn't want another heart breaking end. when i saw you completed the story, i went and started to read the last chapter, after 3 paragraphs, i stopped and went to read all the parts i missed. i'm glad i did. well done! moggy

i've passed over this story a few times, not wishing to read it as i'm not too much for the sci-fi/fantasy genre. i too a chance one day while bored-i liked one of your other stories. i am so glad i did. read it in one sitting very nice story! hope to read more adventures of these two. moggy

when i came across this story, i originally was not going to read it. the description intrigued me, but was worried about the 1 year and 6 months between chapters. i didn't want to get suck into the story and have such lengths between chapters. but i bit the bullet and glad i did. i like the characters but i find Ethan's parents creepy. hope to see a new chapter soon. moggy

like others are suggesting, i think Zef is Miller's mate. otherwise why would be sniffing at Jed all the time. love the stories. read both at least 3 times and really hope there will be a book 3 moggy

such a nice surprise to end 2016 with. i love this story arc and have waiting for it to be updated! i really hope Dean can figure it all out and be with Kao. i so love a happy ending. the Wind Master was so much more a complex critter than i 1st thought-nice writing there. now i must say, can't wait till the next chapter comes out. moggy

i just stumbled upon this story and really am enjoying it on oh so many levels. i'm not sure if any one has mentioned it to you, but you keep changing Donnie's name to Tommy and back again in the last couple of chapters. off to read the rest. mogwai

oh i do hope things will get better for Derrick and Tanner, cause the last 2 chapters left me crying for them. i was feeling sorry for Chris at 1st, now i just want to beat the crap out of him mogwai

this story is good, even the second time around, but it is disheartening to realize that, for whatever reasons, the author has abandon his tale. it's been 2 years since an update and reviews are not being answered. i hope the author is okand some day will finish this. mogwai

people are talking about mercy and forgiveness are the same. to me thy are not. to me, mercy is something you can give to others even if "the crime" wasn't done to you. forgiveness is what you give to yourself after someone did something to you. that someone may feel better that you gave forgave them, but in all reality, the one who forgives receives the best rewards. you let go of the pain, the anger, the hatred. it's a hard victory for sure, been there, done that. more than once. mogwai

Happy Thanksgiving Carlos! nice take on this tradition. as someone who receives more than 95% of their groceries from a food bank, thanks for promoting them. but please, no more jellied cranberry sauce. we must get 3-5 cans of the stuff a month, even in July. if you ever have to move and can't take the freezer full of food, check with your local soup kitchen. they maybe able to use it. mogwai

love the story so this maybe a bit nit-picky. you say the stones in the rings are sapphires and match the green of his eyes. sapphires are blue, emerald are green and rubies are red. the are all beryls, it's the impurities that cause the different colors. like i said, it's a bit picky but jarring for me. mogwai -

this a good start to a good twist on an old tale. I'm thinking the birth mark is a family trait in a royal house somewhere. i've read a few fairy tales where this is the case. looking forward to the next chapter mogwai
