I see your point that there is a need to learn that life is not black and white. However, kids or not, I do believe there are core values you can put in simple questions to make your choices, and compromise from there. As an european, I am not even thinking only about US, but I already saw gay people, or people in ethnical minorities, defend parties and politicians that openly will not support them, and then rise in rage when they actually discriminate them even thought they always said they would. I feel like I can compromise in a lot of issues, but not in the basic idea that everyone has the same dignity, rights, andd should be treated equally. That's what I like in CJ, hevis strong willed.
