Once again they have escaped from Porvus's attempt to kill them. As a bonus they have also gained a new ally who it seems might know a useful trick or two.

While Dorf would have had little compunction in despatching two of the mages being a professional warrior, it was a very different matter for Jamie even though he had no choice. I suspect there will be others to come as the evil appears to be deeply rooted.
We don't know if it is a dead man. Irik said 'something is dead'. I wonder if it might be Mos, but am struggling to work out how it could be. If it is then it would be a definite statement that their progress is being tracked, although how whoever put it there would know they'd go exploring at this station, is another question.

A fresh cadaver where apparently no life has been for thousands of years. A puzzle indeed, especially as it appears to be in an out of the way place.
Nuclear fusion? Wouldn't that present a problem to whoever was delivering it if they were in close proximity? I was thinking more in terms of a flamethrower or napalm.

Thankfully Jamie and his translocation abilities saved them from probable death. For now they appear to be in the clear, but for how long?

Another chance for Garvin to use his lightning prowess in helping to defeat the attacking beasts.
Now they all have extra protection and have made some additional allies.
