Appreciate that comment a lot. Was worried nothing happened in this chapter which would disappoint readers. Yep, they make a great pair - but perhaps I'm a bit biased 😃

I think they will. Adam & Troy could do with a couple of their own age and from a different background. Just happened to come across a pic of an emo wearing a t-shirt as described in the chapter. How could I not use it?

It was quite late by the time we arrived back home from the film show at Nate's. We did though sit in the kitchen with a drink for a short time while we told Mr C about the events of the evening. After that it was definitely time for bed and as we'd had a shower earlier before going out, we decided we didn't need another – no point in cutting down on our cuddling time when we didn't have to! They made it back home - thanks to Sherry breaking the rules it seems. Loads of tension in that chapter! No doubt zombie has gone off to lick its wounds and come up with a new plan as I guess just moving out isn't on the agenda

Very kind of you to say that. This story was written in response to a Prompt and as such wasn't intended to be the start of a series. But I now think it is probable that more will be seen of Chris and Paul.

That's always the potential problem when you have to leave your secure base to replenish supplies. No doubt the drive back there is going to be done much quicker than was the one to town. Gripping stuff!

Poor Geoff, but revenge is easy for him. All he needs to do is take out a subscription to 'The Guardian' in her name. The shock of that coming through her letter box along with the 'Daily Mail', should be sufficient to bring on a fatal heart attack - and he must be the sole beneficiary in her will
