This is a complicated one. If you visit the genre and tag link in the Stories section, is lists tags in categories. This is just for visual assistance to members. A genre is a category you can group things by. A tag, in this software, is just a descriptive item. And although we group them visibly for filtering or searching, they aren't grouped like categories are. That is, I can't make an author add a tag of type setting. This current version of the software also has a lot of limits with out tags are used. Creating too many of them dilutes them to a point of uselessness. We are making changes in the new software with how the story tags work and there will be the ability to add more, but not nearly enough to be able to set a location like that. And as someone mentioned above we have plenty of stories that take place all over the place. In the 23 years since I've opened Gay Authors, I've not had a single person ask for what you did on searching for stories that way In my visits to the many story sites and stores out there, I've never noticed a site having that feature either. So, I would hazard to guess that the desire is fairly niche. In the telemetry data for the site, I don't recall seeing location names pop up much either. Though they are probably searching for those gay demons for some reason or another.

That's deliberate, actually. The description is meant to be a brief book blurb or back of cover quick run. Some people try to write their whole story in the description so we stop that. If you are hitting the limit then keep in mind the current limit is double what it used to be. We have no plans to expand. I will plug AI at this point. Write what you to say in the description and then shove it one of those many AI tools and ask it to give you a pithy book blurb. Voila - free marketing tool to spice up you've written.
