Wow... I've had to read this three times, before I could comment on it. You're correct that storytellers, like me, can take this to heart as much as a poet could. The advice is sound and it shows the perspective an artist of any medium needs to take in order to do their work.
I never heard of Rilke until I read what you posted hear and over in the Poet's thread. I might need to look him up.
Started posting my Tampa Chronicles series over on Nifty. Only two chapters out of the thirteen posted here are posted over there. With Nifty, if you don't already know, there is no way to do reader/author interaction on the site. They have to send you an email, to the address listed on your submitted chapters. I've gotten eight emails from readers. Two of which live here in Tampa, and didn't know about GA, and one GA member.
I started posting on other sites... (I blame @Backwoods Boy, @Mikiesboy, and @Wayne Gray for talking me in it.) Wanted uniformity for a Pen Name, and I had regrets after I went Author because I didn't change BHopper2 before I did.
You may see me on the site, but I'm only answering PMs, and reading a few other things. Otherwise, I'll see everyone when I'm done with stuff here at home/school. PMs and Emails are always welcomed.
