  1. What the Mayor is doing, is wrong on so many levels. Sleep well, Mac. We love you too.
  2. I would love to read that. If you ever did publish it. 🙂
  3. Those nuggets are great advice. I'll need to look up the podcast. Also, did you publish that Archangel story?
  4. *Takes time to relax some before digging into fat molecule composition chains* *Goes and reads a chapter for a friend's story* *Reads a line* *Nearly dies from from laughing so damn hard* If I'm dead tomorrow, it's @Backwoods Boy fault.
  5. I tip my hat to you, my friend.
  6. If you hadn't notice, the status update I did, is now part of my signature.
  7. Totally agree, my Brother. And just throwing money at the problem without a path, is not the answer.
  8. That's.... horrible.... I'll stop there, before Reader takes a 2x4 to my head for getting political. HOWEVER, I forget where, but a city out west has been building tiny house compounds, around 10 tiny homes on a lot, as transitional housing for homeless. That might be a model to adopt in other areas. EDIT: edited my edit
  9. Think Positive. 9:00 pm EDT the Avs will be on my TV. If the news I just heard is correct, @MacGreg correct me on this if I'm wrong, it was a defeat of a bill that allowed homeless tent camps anywhere in the city.
  10. Sorry to hear about your pain. I hope things get better for you.

    Conduit

True, traditional Skinwalkers are very much NOT nice beings. But in a fictional way, there could be different types.

I'm also a sucker for Native American lore, and the use of it, be it fiction or non-fiction. Evan and the Moon Spirits has totally taken my interest. Jed and his dad could even be a type of Native American skinwalker. So, yeah, I'm totally looking forward for more. Also, the sex scenes are good too.

Excellent chapter, Wayne. The things that stood out to me. *Daniel wants Jed to form a pack. *Even being used by the spirits, and how it reacted to Wolfgang. EDIT: I'm loving this story, and looking forward to a lot more. Excellent job.
  14. Enjoy your Vacation, my Brother. I hope you, Mike, and your Niece have a great time. 🙂
  15. School shooting, Highland Ranch STEM school. 1 suspect in custody, a 2nd one is as well but not confirmed, and a 3rd is engaged with police.
  16. Oh, Fuck... Prayers for your state Mac. News just broke here, about the shooting.
  17. Nevermind... I just realized you live in Cali.
  18. Lucky! Enjoy it. Wait... you're just getting lunch?
  19. Yeah, we're into swampass weather early.
  20. Good afternoon @MacGreg and @Wayne Gray... In the 90's with 45% humidity here. Feels like 96*.

    Money Talks

Nah, Bro. I didn't take what you wrote as invalidation, and I actually think you made a very valid point about Ben and his experiences with Sex. I was just clarifying where I was coming from. You point about his experiences with women actually supports my claims about his self-loathing. Especially with that bitch Christine. We don't know, or I missed it, who/what made Christine have an abortion, but Ben is carrying a lot of guilt there like's its a Sword of Damocles. He's feeling guilty that his child is dead. Christine throwing the abortion back into his face was a pivotal point in Ben's psyche and how he's seeing things with Travis. Or, again, that's my perspective of it. Thanks, Mac. I completely agree about readers picking up on stuff that you may not have seen. AC in my O. Henry prompt piece, said he liked the theme of breaking the chain curse, and that I wrote it well. When I was writing the short story, I hadn't thought about that aspect, but I see it now. I'm reminded of something said in the movie The Neverending Story 2, in which the bookstore owner told Bastion, "Stories change every time you re-read them." I can't tell you anything about the rest of the movie, but that scene is like burned into my mind. While the story itself doesn't change, your perspective of it does. You can read something one way, and then comeback to it and read it a different way.
