Morning DiCers. Bad case of insomnia last night, so I spent it being productive. I binge read @MacGreg's story. 200mg of Trazodone and a cup of natural calm, and I'm still wide awake. Anyway, I'll be over here, just doing my thing today.

My lack of comments on the last nine chapters, shouldn't be taken as a reflection of what I thought. I'm loving this story, every chapter. Some parts are a little hard to read, but it all adds together. Oh, where to start. Christine - First-class Witch. Especially bringing up the abortion. Katy - It all makes sense now. Curtis - Someone needs to handed to him his ass. Eric - No comment. At least no comment where I would post it publicly. Travis & Ben - Have to do this as a pair. While I like the story, and the pairing of these two, as a reader, I'm starting to think it's a mistake. Ben is just at the point of acceptance of himself as Bi/Gay/Whatever, Labels Suck, and Travis said it best, he needs to have more partners than just him. May feelings on this is because of Travis. There is a lot of trauma there from abuse, and I feel he's treating Ben the way he is, because he was powerless to prevent it, and now he's doing it to Ben. With Ben being new to relationships with guys, with Travis being his first one, it doesn't feel like this would be a healthy one for him to start with. As an Author, I love how you wove this story, and are exploring these themes. I might me completely ass-backwards on them, but that is how I'm perceiving it. As for this chapter... Ben just made a huge fucking mistake. He's letting his lust cloud his judgement, and it's going to bite him in the ass, once Eric double-cross him.

Shocked! Face! Holy Hell... Travis is on the warpath, and what the hell did Eric just do to a 15y/o!

Really hot scene. The whole chapter was really good. Love the progress.

Ben looking after his man! Loved it.

Some great character development in this chapter. Excellent.

One more, and I'm going to bed, I said... Now I got to see what happens the next morning! I like how they are both admitting that they actually care for each other. In their own way, of course. Now if they could let go of the bullshit.

Fucking Onions... My opinion of Travis has changed again. For the better.

Wow. WOW... Great chapter, I'm loving Ben a lot on this. He's coming to terms with himself, and trying to work things out. But his movie star life is getting in the way, or his perception of it. And, what the hell is it about sisters?

Their first fight... Yeah, there's a lot of bullshit going around, like others have said, and it's going to take a lot. Granted I'm reading these chapters 3 years later, so a lot of stuff has bound to have changed.

I'm still loving the story, but I am lost for words on this chapter. As a reader, I'm feeling Ben's head is not in the right place for this. His self-loathing is not healthy, and that's coming from someone that has a lot of practice in that department. Katy... no words. My instinct with Travis, is starting to change. He's gone from gay man, helping someone find themselves, to something of a predator. Scary. That just maybe a bit of projection from my past there. It's funny how 2-Dimensional characters can come alive, and remind us of parts of ourselves.

The only springs, I've been in, have been COLD springs. I would love to try hot springs once. I'm loving this story a lot. A lot of different dynamics here.

Goddamn! Katy is a bitch, she might be 15, but wow. WOW. Wondering what she meant, about turning him, but I don't think that's an issue. Ben hating himself, had some signs in the first few chapters, and even before he shaved, and what was said here at the end. It's like this whole group is bundle of sticks soaked in kerosene and Katy/Travis rivalry is a match.
