Forgot my introduction from earlier. Hello, again, my name is A, but you can also call me B. Just don't call me late for dinner. I've recently been diagnosed with ADHD and a touch of Autism, which went undiagnosed until 2023/24 and because of that the mental health issues I was diagnosed with stem from those two things not being treated. Bi-Polar, Chronic Depression, and Anxiety. Add into that some abuse from an ex and family, and I can generally say I'm f'ed up. Despite that I am a Staff Accountant now for a non-profit that helps the homeless or those on the verge of becoming homeless through the ongoing ministry of Jesus Christ. The place does truly accept me for being both Gay and Pagan. When the voices in my head decide to talk to me, I write what they say down, and then post my stories. I consider myself a Storyteller, not a Writer, and even Google AI says there is a difference between the two. I periodically disappear, cause ADHD, but I feel a kinship to the people here in DiC3. tim and Mike are couple goals for me, with my bebezinho.

I'm taking a half day tomorrow, and unplugging. End of Fiscal Year, and making sure all my billing and non-billing grants are accounted for. I started on 11/04/2024 and inherited several grants in January 2025. Turns out the last accountant manager we had was a micromanager and didn't tell us all the grants we handled. So my nice and easy 10 grants turned into 27, with the bulk having not been touched since last July. I've gotten 24/27 done, and for the last three I am literally looking for pennies. I had to work the 4th of July and had today off as my holiday. I ended up doing a small walk in the morning, and staying inside all day. The heat when I opened the door for the Wal-Mart delivery almost knocked me over.

Sounds like an allergic reaction. My friend's dog was doing the same, and the vet recommended soaking the paw in epson salt after every trip outdoors to see if it was environmental. It wasn't. turned out to be a food allergy.

At work, we use the Sanctuary Model of Trauma-Informed care. A part of that is to develop individualized safety plans. Something that can help you get control of your emotions when you realize you're becoming to overly emotional. Watching Capybara videos is part of my safety plan. Reminds me to embrace my inner Capybara.
