"What if you take a Jedi Battlemaster, an Outlander, from the Old Republic Era, freeze them in Carbonite, and then unthaw them during the Rebellion Era?"

Thank you for reading, Quilah. I had to reread the story myself, and what others and my own comments said to remember this piece. There were three versions of this story when it was written. The first the brothers were saved by a god from the world, but that ran over the word limit and I felt was bit anticlimactic. The second version, they were exiled to an island were the kingdom sends their worset prisoners. It too went a little long in the tooth, and I couldn't find a good way to "end" it, without it seeming rushed. The third version, this one, where they died, ended up feeling like the right way to end the story within the confines of the rules of the game (as this was one of Cia's Forum Game Prompt-Inspiration Challenges), and made sense in the overall fantasy world I write my fantasy stories in.

There's a fine line between, swapping a word and doubting yourself. I've always been told to not edit until after you have a chapter done, and started on the next one. If you give yourself time, between when you wrote the scene, and when you go to edit, that might help give you clarity on when enough editing is enough.

That's all that we can do. Only control the things within our control. But it's easier said than done. That's a lesson I'm still trying to learn.

You just have to be careful when you do the canning. My grandma used to do it all the time, until one of the jars exploded on her. She was taking it out of the water to let it cool on a cooling rack, and it blew up going everywhere. Luckily she wasn't hurt from the glass breaking.
