I don’t want to feel bad for Orpheus, I don’t wanna. Please don’t make me feel for him!!! Dammit to late. To exist like that for centuries. It would twist any soul. I hope Caleb is stronger in the end.

Coming to the realization that you can’t cheat death from this side of the veil is hard. Now both boys know Orpheus’s position in the underworld. I wish there was some way to coordinate with each other. Looking forward to the next chapter with Caleb.

They said the “L” word to each other. YES!!!!!! Next is Benny’s birthday in Florida. I am assuming that it is for the party that Adam is also down in Florida. Will we be at Benny’s party with Adam? Thanks and looking forward to more.

Caleb knows. The question is does Orpheus know that Caleb knows. But then does Caleb know that Orpheus knows that he knows. Now my head is spinning and I don’t know what Orpheus, Caleb, Ethan, Liz, or Jake know anymore. I guess I will just have to keep reading. Thanks so much.

Well. That didn’t go according to plan. At least Ethan knows that Caleb is ok and is searching for him as well. Oh. And the shocker, Orpheus is “The Lord Who Rules Beneath”. When did he get the job advancement to “death”. I have a bit of an inkling about how this could go now 😉 thanks.

Well......that’s one way to out yourself to your roommate. But I have a feeling Nan would have done it Blu didn’t. Can’t wait for the next chapter now that we “know” most of the characters back stories. Thanks.

This was incredibly profound. Eurydice after thousands of years decided that living with the knowledge that her love was lost drank from the Lethe and forgot it all. Caleb’s last statement said it all. He caries on to save Ethan “his true love”. Now we have to wait to find out about Ethan and Orpheus. Thanks for 2 chapters in the same day. Awesome.

Now I guess we know where Orpheus “disappeared” to in the last chapter. Orpheus did swear on the Styx that he would help Caleb. Wondering what he is really up to now. Thanks for the chapter and the next one just posted so off I go to read that. 😂

What a great way to come out to your parents. “I had a great time with him.” Loved it. The interactions of the boys was great. I can see how with the excitement and kissing how they could forget to exchange numbers. I am looking forward to the backstory on dads reaction. Thanks.

I agree with @Crazyd1965 Devon has been treated like crap for the last 10 years by his father and a mother that abandoned him. And now she shows up and drags him away from his only friends. These people that he is leaving with are practically strangers to him. I wish they had set up some system other than calling or texting. Thanks for the chapter

Jake's comment on us never being as tough as we think we are was very powerful. Ethan now knows he has to look elsewhere, but the thought that he has wasted all that time on a resurrection spell must hurt. I am glad to see some humanity coming back to Ethan now. More research ahead for him though.

Damn. Ethan's journal had me in tears. Caleb didn't notice the mention of the drugs in addition to the knife. At least he now knows how long he has been gone. -
Not quite as emotional as "everything changes" but damn close. I feel bad for Jesse but if he has feelings for Brad then his other relationship will probably suffer. A long month of healing is awaiting both physically and emotionally. Then thanks to the criminal justice system Brad and Nate will have to relive everything in court.

WOW!! did not see that coming.... Ethan is a bit obsessed with this now. Also a bit mad with power. Both boys seem to be guilt ridden because of what the other has done and are taking drastic steps to fix the situation. and also WTF!!!!!!!!!!.................LIZ IS PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
