And thus ends the story of Kye, Marcus and Uncle Mathias or is there more information to impart on Kye and Marcus' mate-ship? Now that two years have passed since grandmother Junette's funeral, will we see Kye reuniting with his three younger brothers Lucas - 10, Trent - 6, and Ryan age 4, while he and Marcus vacation in Australia? Obviously at his father's invitation unless his monster (oops Mother) has had a change of heart. Oh to be a fly on the wall.

With added HP (TRD Supercharger), suspension etc. Sienna's easily handle medium 'armoring'. Best offense is an armored defense. https://www.autoevolution.com/news/heres-an-armored-toyota-sienna-because-what-soccer-mom-doesnt-need-one-157168.html

And RR5 is off to a few (?) weeks in Italy. I think the boys excitement will surpass their fear, once they get past their 'first' takeoff. They won't be awake for long (after snack) when seats turn into bed. I suspect, to be on the safe side and prevent motion sickness, either grandmother, Armand or Colin will have given a child's dose (liquid or dissolving tablet) of Gravol (tm) or Dramamine to the boys pre-flight which will make them sleepy. 🛫 Nice that the judge gave Armand and Colin a way to adopt James instead of being a 'ward' for next few months; making him older brother for the boys instead of 'Uncle James'. But then again, Armand says in response to the judge's offer: “Judge, you have made us very happy. We thought about adoption except there are so many younger than him who need us more. He will become our younger brother.” Hmm. I still think James (and Marcel) will meet up with the RR-5 when they arrive in France. Afterall, despite Armand telling James he doesn't have to return to orphanage anymore, James replied: “Marcel wants me to attend some classes.” And where better to become classes to become"... a top rated chef,” than attending the 30-day 'entry level' course at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, and receive the 'entry level' Le Diplôme de Cuisine supérieure (Superior Cuisine Certificate). Only €10,700 or $10,625, which I suspect certain 'Guardians' will cover*. 👨🏼🍳 * A tax deductible 'business expense' according to IRS.

Marcel puts an apron on Armand to make him stand in as 'sous-chef' while James meets with the Judge? We know Armand can 'paint' a realistic plate of food on the villagio mural, but can he boil water, or even answer "Yes Chef" to Marcel? It's certain the Rowe-Roberts 'party of five' are packed and ready to head for the airport after dinner (overnight flight on ITA Airways - Italia Trasporto Aereo, replacing former bankrupt AlitaliaAl Italia), means everyone, especially the boys, get to sleep and arrive less jet-lagged). I think Marcel and James, with his new official papers and passport, will leave for France a few days later and meet up with the RR5 for the rest of the vacation. Cal. 🫂

GA needs to add a 'Confused' 😕 or maybe a "Meh" 🤷🏼♂️ emoji for when none of the standard ones apply. (But let's not bother @Myr as there's already a lot to deal with). Why? Well the initial visit to Liechtenstein, meeting the Prince and successfully hosting the 'Youth Summit' went very well. That made me happy. 🙂 Then the skiing accident and the massive amount of trauma resulted being in a coma, then 12 weeks of craniofacial reconstructive surgery to rebuild his face, resulted in a significantly different appearance. Or a Kit indicated: "clearly two different faces, and the plastic surgeon at the private hospital in London had done such a good job, that there was no disfiguration, ..." That made me sad. 😢 Then there are possible side-effects. Facial plates may require additional surgeries as the patient grows from teenager to adult. CF surgery can also adversely affect sinus passages affecting breathing, making lengthy airplane flights painful and possibly dangerous based on 'altitude' onboard. Below 7,500 ft / 2,280m altitude is okay. The lower the cabin altitude the better. Then there is the social stigma based on people's reaction to facial reconstruction and how those reactions may affect Kit's mental wellbeing. Making me worried. 🤞🏼 Thankfully Marcus remembered Kit's voice despite the different face. The emotion behind Marcus' greeting of Kit suggests something beyond just being a good 'mate', which Kit may need for support when he returns to Oz for his grandmother's funeral. The previous 'rift' with his bitch of a mother who kicked him out of home at age 12 (!) for being gay may become a chasm when grandma's Last Will bypasses her daughter and gives more of her 'estate' to Kit.

Not a BAAd chapter @CLJobe. I hope the toy manufacturer will find a quick way to make the missing 5 plush goats for the five "too young" children at the orphanage who missed out on them ballgame. If the cut off age is 8 to go to the game, I worry about the 'little ones' feeling sad at not getting a stuffed goat toy to hug for comfort 🐐. The toy maker will need to resupply stores. Up next, the European trip with the 5 Rowe-Roberts family.

Interesting chapter @CLJobe. Is it possible that Rev. Rowland, with his wife dying during childbirth, was lied to about his son surviving and that the infant was taken? After 18 years in the grave, it is still possible to match DNA from the neck of the femur or humorous bones or from a tooth of the deceased. Just saying there is a possibility... A conundrum? In the meantime having James declared a 'ward of the Court' with Armand and Colin as 'Guardians' until he is 21 is one solution.

Chapter 1: Welcome to the world of the wild flower.
Anton_Cloche commented on vanalas's story chapter in Chapter 1: Welcome to the world of the wild flower.
He learned nothing from his parents love and empathy for others. A bitter enraged man doomed to die alone. A modern day Scrooge. -
An interesting start to a new story, especially with a move half way around the world (or at least bottom to top). Half expect to discover that the sell up of the bulk of Kye's 'family' farm and "the remaining 4,380 acres was been split up and sold to three neighbouring farmers", was in fact orchestrated by the real (secret) owner of the adjacent 'ranches' being Uncle Mathias (getting back it has estranged family).

First, my condolences to you, your brother and extended family (from one caregiver to another). Your Mom clearing earned a peaceful passing, may she Rest in Peace. Another informative chapter @kbois that brings us up to date on the pack, and what Zev and Ben have been able to uncover about the missing pups. Elijah needs to head the advice Silas shared, both for himself and Tyler, who despite "Lilabit" question “Then what good are you?” has a lot of good to offer Elijah as we've seen. And going forward, a lot more 'good' will come from Tyler's involvement. Take care.

I think the next time Uncle's Armand and Colin visit the orphanage they may be greeted by bleating 'kids' and treat their 'uncles' as G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time). 🐐🐐. Cal

Well, certainly a lot going on. Sleeping arrangements for Tommy's room have been maximized with two sets of bunk beds replacing the former bed, BUT, that leaves one vacant bed. As the boys grow, Armand and Colin will seriously need to consider a large home, something with a yard perhaps. It will be hard for Armand and Colin to give up their apartment 'over the club', but things change. Speaking of change, "a maid arrived with several suitcases and boxes belonging to Richard"? That indicates some wealth and perhaps a large country home (not far from the Gallery and Club), property or estate that was his late parents. Possibly large enough for a growing Rowe-Roberts 'family' to move into, at some point after Richie recovers from the shock and the funeral. Adoptions done, for now, and nice to see each boy has kept 'his' parents last name as 'his' middle name as a loving lasting tribute. Surprise 'picnic' BBQ for the orphanage and Armand's generous offer of new bunk beds so every child can have 'their' own bed even if they can't have separate rooms. Three new passports for three new sons and the Rowe-Roberts family is off to Italy (possibly France and Spain as well for a quick look?) for vacation. Oh, and one little girl finds a favorite lap for her and her dolly to sit on at the picnic, "...my friend from the trip to the zoo came over. I picked her up and sat her on my lap. She had her doll with her and I had to say hello to the doll. She snuggled in, I put my arm around her to hold her on my lap. I found out little girls are squirmy." Just saying... Thank you Cal.

The somewhat shared experiences of Tommy and Richie (loosing parents and family), plus whatever loss Ronny went through, makes their immediate empathy for each other all the more understandable. 🫂 Tommy and Ronny have had some time to accept and adjust to being an orphan, but for Richie the full extent of what just happened to him is going to hit him like a ton of bricks soon. Colin's legal background and connections may make gaining custody of Ronny and Richie faster, but the investigation into the crash Richie was in, let alone lawsuits, insurance, homes and 'estates' etc. will slow things down. But before any of that, there is the additional trauma of the funeral for Richie's parents and his older brother. 💔 ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ 😭

Wow. Good thing my tissue box was close by. 😢 I felt it was going to be a moving chapter when Colin replied to Armand: “When we took those boys home after the fishing trip, their eyes. They were full of sadness even though they had smiles on their face. I felt bad about leaving them. Armand, we have to do something with those kids each week". Armand went to the orphanage to ask if he could bring Tommy's friend Ronnie home for an overnight stay, and was surprised when police and a woman CPS agent arrived with a very distraught young boy. (CPS determine there was no relative to care for boy, and placed him in the orphanage). Whatever happened to this child was so catastrophic that he was still in shock and sought the comfort and protection of someone in the office who looked like a father - Armand. When Ronnie arrived at the office he immediately went to comfort the boy. Orphanage Director Mrs. Anderson asked if Armand would take both boys home for a week (orphanage might be at maximum capacity?) Armand agreed, and took the boys to his gallery where he opened the paperwork from the orphanage to discovered the horrific truth of the accident where a semi-truck hit a family car, killing the boy's parents and older brother, leaving Richie alone. (In time Colin may uncover insurance, lawsuits and perhaps a family home that Richie will inherit, so he may not be destitute). Once home Tommy followed Dad Armand's instructions to get drinks from the club for everyone. Colin was then surprised when Tommy said: “Pop, we’re going to adopt Ronnie and Richie.” “Who told you that?” “When I’m quiet or asleep, this lady comes and tells me stories.” I looked at him and then Colin. He mouthed, GG. With that, Armand and Colin know their family as going to grow yet again. And there's still that little girl at the orphanage who latched on to Colin. 👨👨👦 + 🧒🏼 + 🧒🏼 + 👧🏼 =

Departure [Epilogue]
Anton_Cloche commented on Carlos Hazday's story chapter in Departure [Epilogue]
So Carlos, let me see if I got your message for the umpteenth time. (yes, I paid attention to all previous elucidated* statements. *giving others time to Google that word 😄.) Just because you said you** weren't writing anymore multi-chapter JCverse stories (for the time being), doesn't make it any easier when the Silver Line abruptly screeches to a halt after only 3 stops. (Okay that's a weird analogy). And yes, I will echo other's comments and sentiments about events stated and alluded to (teased?) in other stories and chapters, that have yet to be delivered. The arrival of twins Roo and Jeffer. The adoption of Davey (Davenport) 10 years later. The long-term political goal that CJ just dropped on Carson (like the ACME anvil on Wile E Coyote) and an intermediate step as 'District' Mayor (does CJ succeed where others failed and get 'state' status for the district?). Then there's a brief stint as hotshot at Embajada de los Estados Unidos de América in Cuba. With all that said, as an editor, and a fan, I appreciate your commitment to turning out well thought out, well written stories/books and refusing "...to allow the quality to suffer". If that means a "six months hiatus" while you craft the next CJ or other masterpiece (no pressure 😉) then so be it. Whether that's sitting in a room, by the pool, or out 'keeping the shiny side up', whatever it takes to let the creativity flow onto the keyboard. So six months means we can expect you and the GroundHOG to see daylight on Thursday Feb 2nd 2023? Or about the same time Frank Reagan leaves as NYPD Commissioner? Thank you. ** Ou les outré nom de plume? O los otros seudónimos?- 75 comments

Great new book Bill and this chapter jumps (or hops) right into the midst of some very interesting events. If the saying "Too many cooks spoil the broth" is true, then things won't be done well. But Carol's "helping hands' with Cook should mean 'things' will be well done 🐰. (strange way of 'turning a phrase'). Things (no pun intended) seem to developing quite quickly in Jonathan and Lachlan's business and personal lives. 🍾 🥂 Lachlan's putting the new property in Jonathan's name not only ensures him equal legal ownership in half of the planned resort, it also provides financial security if their personal partnership should fail. (which hopefully will never happen).

Shh, it'll be our secret. (By The Way, DM's still not working). Later...

A really nice chapter! I was a little surprised at "... Elijah flicked on his directional...", which to me is more BritSpeak than 'turn signal' used on this side of the pond. Otherwise the arrival at 'McDen', the introductions and dinner, then Tyler's first exposure to 'shifting' were well done. Will be interesting to see what Zev's "jigsaw puzzle" reveals and if they can nail Huntington and put him on trial (in a wolf court 🐺 ⚖️ ). On a personal note, your reply to @scrubber6620 : "Mom is stubbornly hanging in there even though we keep telling her it's time to go. It's amazing and frustrating at how long someone can linger with no food or water and a cocktail of morphine, Haldol and lorazapam. My brothers and I just want it over so she's not suffering anymore", really pulled at my heart as it mirrored exactly what I went through with my Mom. Her palliative doctor asked if there was someone missing that she needed to see before she could leave (turned out there was and we fixed that immediately) and Mom slipped away shortly after their (reluctant) visit. 🙏🏼

Another wonderful chapter Calvin with plenty of activity for the children in the orphanage. Fishing for Tommy and the boys, a shopping day for the girls (less expensive then a 'Spa Day' to be sure), with promises of more in the future, especially if Tommy has any 'sway' with his Dad and Pop. Armand and Colin definitely looking at future adoptions, (a certain little girl to be Tommy's younger sister, and I'm still betting on a brother). In the meantime, 'Uncle' Armand and 'Uncle' Colin will be welcome at the orphanage. Plans being made for summer vacation in Europe. 🇮🇹 🇪🇸 🇫🇷

Based on numerous property management & owners feedback, some renters from mid to upper income backgrounds and those in 'Top 10' and Ivy League schools seem to have less respect for the units they rent. Reportedly, due to feelings of 'entitlement', they are more likely to party and lose their cleaning and security deposits when they leave. Those students who worked hard to get into college / university, and may have received 'academic' scholarships through hard work were more likely to 'respect' their rented 'home' while in school, as a 'safe place to live and study'.

" Floating Clinics" may have to use helicopters to ferry patients from shore if 'GRUBanors' Abbott (TX), DeSantis (FL), Ivey (AL) & Reeves (MS) decide to act like Orval Faubus (Arkansas) and George Wallace (Alabama) did in 1957 and 1963 blocking desegregation of schools by using State National Guard to prohibit entry. Or in this case threatening to use State Nat'l Guard to block access to docks and Coast Guard to intercept boats in Gulf of Mexico. As for news of the twin boys, I've been ROOting for the 'reveal'. But it didn't leave CJ 'speechless' for long. Linc's suggestions of "Tyrone and Tyrese" is funny as hell. Linc and Dr. Facundo? As for CJ's comments about Clarence? (I refuse to 'honor' him but using his title), CJ's "hope he dies soon. Preferably painfully” comment could have an element of Karma if he accidentally walked in front of Ginny while she was 'handloading'. Kinda like duck hunting with Cheney. Oops. Thanks Carlos for my Friday boost!

Like a sculpture or drawing from Jamie's skilled hands, this story of yours is finely crafted and well finished! And yes, I truly expect that Collin is smiling down (from Heaven), satisfied at how his taking in, protecting, loving and nurturing Jamie and Kyle had resulted in their finding each other at long last ... Forever. Thank you Georgie for this HEA (Happily Ever After) epilogue. 🇺🇦

Great to see Armand has sorted out French and Spanish lessons for Colin and Tommy, plus the 'extra' Italian Tommy is getting from Anna and Tony's son. The trip to the Bronx Zoo with all the children and staff from Tommy's previous orphanage (even the bus drivers) was a great success. Colin was correct in saying to Armand “I think if you had your way, you would adopt them all.” The little girl, a year or two younger than Tommy, could easily become his younger sister based on Armand's thought: "I put my arm around her as she snuggled in my arm" on the bus ride back to the orphanage. Tommy's close school and former orphanage friend could also become a brother, if Armand and Colin expand their current home. And GG will provide some direction? Next up are Armand's plans for a European vacation for his 'family' of three?

And now, Karl will, "...Go, into the wild blue yonder, Climbing high, into the sun..." (U.S. Army Air Corp anthem, created by a young pilot Capt. Robert Crawford on May 11, 1939 entitled "Off We Go" as part of a competition to create a song to boost morale in the war). https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_U.S._Air_Force_(song) Karl is given his 'wings' 🛩️ by Arthur, who somberly tells Karl his first 'mission' is in a week. And while it's not into battle, it is not without danger. This at the same time that Karl's two RAF friends/mates Jørgen and Kristian have not yet returned to base. Karl begins writing a letter to Margaret Hopkins, telling her (and the family) about passing his test and becoming a pilot, knowing she will be happy for his success but will worry about Karl flying in battle. He stumbles about referring to Kristian as his friend, but falters when thinking about George. So many concerns now.
