    Chapter 3

And why hasn't Elijah informed Sebastian about his parent's murders? Or mire importantly with the MacTire Pack's network why aren't they aware of Kage, his boss and Huntington checking into them?

    Chapter 48

Finally Armand's 'works' are getting both well-deserved recognition but also 'appropriate' valuations. Thinking about what Warhol and Pollack's sold for when they were alive, and the 10, 20 and 100 times it auction now. That mural alone would be worth Million$. Now, what was that cheque from the EU buyer worth hmm?

    TSA Chapter 1

I took think the reference to 'insure' the 'classic' Neel Trimaran was $6k but that seems really low since well looked after Neel's run will over that.
  4. Ps to my last posted comment. In my 2nd paragraph I wrote 'V1 & V2 rockets'. Unfortunately my 'assistant' Herr Otto Korrectk doesn't do English gud (see what I mean ๐Ÿ˜‰ ). Okay enough with the bad Monday puns. You wrote: I hope you're all doing well since the last time The weather is so depressing here... Sorry to end on a cliffhanger, but oh my... It's horrible to read... :5 Have a good day/evening/night and a good week! Take care โค๏ธ I don't know where you write / post from, but in my northern hemisphere home, Summer supposedly arrived on June 22nd, yet we've had almost 5 weeks of soggy, grey days, rain, interspersed with one 39ยฐC day filled with thunder and lightning. But at least it's not snow and ice. As for cliff hanger... Arrgh. Looking forward (please) to a more uplifting next few chapters. Hopefully with both Kristian and Kurt intact! (You wouldn't want to upset little 'Rosy' and leave her without "my protector" And possibly adopting her as his 'ward'?). Take care โค๏ธ
  5. Oh no! The 'Jerry's stepped up their nightly 'buzzbombs' and regular 'drop' bombs on airfields when the Brit's sorties began to affect Berlin and German 'military' targets (versus Huns, and today's Russian troops specifically targeting schools, hospitals and other civilian buildings). Likely not hearing the high pitch whistle and then silence of V1 & V1 rockets, these 'drop' bombs had a greater concussive affect. Did Kristian sacrifice himself to save Karl? Can Karl get 'Doc' (what 'medics' were called in WWII) in time to save Kristian? ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

    Chapter 47

Calvin, as much as I'd like to take credit for the Rome watercolor, it's by an Italian-American retired (sadly for health reasons, but not 'departing' any time soon) entertainer and is available for sale but no set price. His 'family Trustee' is accepting emails from interested potential buyers but not disclosing anything more. Name of artist is Benedetto. โ™ฅ๏ธ ๐ŸŒ‰ Stay well. Tony ๐Ÿซ‚ ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

    Chapter 47

Great chapter, creating loads of mind images from your words. The saying " It's worth whatever someone is prepared to pay" was never truer. Whether for artwork (some litho - Limited Edition Numbered copies are worth more than the original). Armand's professor friend will not steer him wrong or let him be undervalued. Of course the 'subject' of the piece will also drive both desire / demand for a particular piece of art. Like Colin nude in a pool. Peter getting out of Nick's Pool. 1966 David Hockney * Sold at Auction 2018 for $80 Million U.S. to Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool, U.K. for permanent collection. Artists view of Bella Roma.

    Chapter 46

Not for nothing Cal, your words paint numerous pictures in the heads of readers (I suspect not just me), and make us want to travel to these places to see in person what you've created through your writings. (right after lightning hits me twice and I pickup the 'big ass' check for PowerBall, MegaMillions or any other lotto),

    DSNW Chapter 2

Seems I've read this plot (wanting to capture or kill the Crown Prince) in one of the three previous DSNW. Going back to speed-read Book 1 - 3, to see. If I'm incorrect, my bad. Put me on the next outbound ๐Ÿš€

    DSNW Chapter 8

An interesting off-world / alternate reality story, which certainly gave our author greater latitude when creating this tale. I suspect offshoots of this saga to spring up, in time. (which as some famous guy one opined "Time is Relative").
  11. In my previous comment, an important bit (to me) got left out: After playing with Rosemary for a while, Karl said to her: โ€œLille havfrue, can you go and see what Emma is doing upstairs?โ€ โ€œWhat did you call me?โ€ โ€œThatโ€™s your new surname. It sounds nice to you.โ€ โ€œBut what does it mean"? Iโ€™ll tell you if you go see Emma and do what I tell you.โ€ She looked at him with wary eyes. โ€œPromise?โ€ โ€œPromise.โ€ She was fast to leave the room, the steps creaking under her feet as she went downstairs. I truly hope Karl kept that promise before he left, why he called her Little Mermaid, because leaving Rosemary with saying goodbye would bring her to tears and break her heart, causing her to tearfully sob, "But he promised". (Perhaps you could clarify that in next chapter when Karl / Carl remembers saying goodbye to Rosemary?). https://www.visitcopenhagen.com/copenhagen/planning/little-mermaid-gdk586951
  12. Thank you @LittleCherryBlossom26for another well written chapter. A heartfelt chapter with everyone so happy to see Karl safe and sound. Especially little Rosemary who as a young child had already lost her parents and is unable to express her inner fear at loosing anyone ese, but her emotions burst though at the sight of 'my saviour' as she hugs Karl with all her might. George has finally let Nathan rest, quietly in a special place in his heart and mind, and opening both for Karl, but in the end, as Karl must return (with Arthur) to active RAF duty, George lashes out in anger fueled by fear. Finally Margaret, as Karl's 'adoptive' mother, follows him (and Arthur) out into the snow to give Karl extra hugs, as if she has some premonition they won't see each other alive again. Does that foreshadow Karl's death or perhaps a buzzbomb from a nazi 'blitz' that strikes London. I pray not for either, but often prayer is not enough. ๐Ÿ’”

    DSNW Chapter 2

Wow, even in this multi-verse (?) SinoRuss co-existence exists to take what they can lay claim to (valid or most-likely not) but if the situation were reversed the SinoRuss would not hesitate to keep others locked up. This story seems familiar.
  14. June 2023 for chapter 3 of Chemist... Thiago & Fabricio's Atl adventure? Sorry but that blows. Really well written story so far and very insightful for someone who is not black. T is an amazing single dad to Fab! ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ Nice to see Liebe gifted him with her plush echidna that Fab calls Puggle. (And he's still Lieb's main 'squeeze' on Inauguration Day). As an allergy Rx to ward off writing romance (but it's okay for Harley to love his bike, ditto CJ... you have a weird romantic side Carlos), just don't follow Hemingway. He stated a preference for scotch & soda, but as pic shows, any bottle in a hurricane, even named Gordon)

    Chapter 46

A success all the way around. Colin has his club filled with memories to last two lifetimes - his and Armand's. Armand has found his muse in Colin and married him. And they get to relive the honeymoon each day at the club, and rekindle their love at night under the stars. ๐ŸŒƒ AAH! ๐Ÿซ‚

    Chapter 16

Andre, apologies for being slow to respond, but I've been taking my time re-reading the last two chapters to let your words wrap themselves around me like a warm duvet. You continue to imbue each chapter with heart, feelings, and as the French say, a certain Je ne sais quoi. It appears that Andrew, Ryan and now all four children have another set of Guardian Angels looking over them. Aunt Joan and Uncle Dan (to borrow a Texas saying) 'rode to their rescue' just when needed. I was not surprised. Thank you.
  17. Beware of those who hide behind lace curtains over windows. (Arsenic & Old Lace) The stalker is starting to sound like a cause for concern. Where is Luke's
  18. Doctors, m'eh. Used to be you would find a good one, preferably in early 30's (some experience) with a good 'bedside manner', who would live at least a long as you. These days it's like a 'puppy mill' (NOT that Puppy!), where you go in to almost a factory or an airport. They've booked 5 patients for 10:15 so you know you are trapped. Either that, or the private Drs are now part of a 'clinic' so you never know who you will see. And the diagnosis is at best a guess? Had three Anxiety Attacks in a year. No consistent 'trigger', bunch of expensive tests, and the Covid hit. So no in-person visits, Tele-Health or Zoom. (Yeah stick out you tongue? Or other bit), and prescription faxed to pharmacy / chemist for pick up. Anyway, if I had to find common trigger for young Luke is (a) being gay but not OUT at school where first attack occured; (b) not OUT to Dad, and (c) will Dad's "nice lady" online hook-up like children, and be gay friendly or will she be a step-monster from Hell. Hence the bedtime attack. Fingers crossed for Luke to sort this out. A panic attack is unlikely to cause a heart attack, but it's possible.
  19. James, after my comments last chapter, you'd think I'd be happy with 'this' ending. But... I love the special moment between Jenson and his Mum in the park. It truly shows the love and the bond between them ๐Ÿฅฒ that time will never erase. With their flat now sold, he and Hunter are free to go their own ways, although feelings will endure, hopefully the good ones. And while 'Jenson' has a plan for moving forward (and backward if he does go back to Greenstone), the 'Puppy' in him would go back to Hunter IF they could find a way to make that work . Hunter has had such a hard time, and it would be a waste if he wound up back in prison or ending his life. Maybe, after Alice Springs and school, there's a way they could renew a relationship working at Greenstone to help other 'lost' children. (And that could be covered in one of two ways: ยท A limited 5 to 10 chapter Puppy 4.0, from Oz back to UK, finish school, take over Greenstone, hire Hunter ๐Ÿซ‚ and '10 years' later; or ยท A one chapter Epilogue with a synopsis of the above, but adding a Puppy 'family', where he and Joey get married and Noah becomes their son ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ง (bet you didn't see that coming) while they take over Greenstone with Hunter to help. Or not. Thank you James for this story and these 'people' we've come to care about. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ
  20. I enjoyed the original 'Puppy' story, with its good writing, interesting characters and situations that were largely believable. Along with how sad life had been for 'Puppy' but with a newly found Dad and family he has a chance to grow up into Jenson. (Before things went off and back on the rails so to speak). 'Normalcy' was a possibility. But now, Version 3.19 (are we not at 4.0?), how can I put this? Oh I'll just do a Steven and "tear the plaster off". Don't take this in a bad way, but sometimes the whole Jenson / Steven construct is likely watching a mashup of East Enders and Coronation Street where all the characters have been locked up together for 5 years completely wasted/stoned/drunk and humping each other like manic rabbits while looking around the corner for who's next. Jenson will always become Puppy when somebody needs a cuddly 'play' toy, and then gets cast off, and on some level Jenson enjoys that. Anyway, back to our 'Continuing Stoooorrry'...
  21. OMG, they're pornterbating and Alan is 'doing' it unprotected! What is this generation doing? Thank gawd it's virtual (not virtuous, lol), otherwise they'd be worse off than seniors.* Let's see what happens next. Will Mark and Bruce start feeling remorse over their decisions? Will they become FWB or just 'Strangers on a train'? Hmm * Which both 'real' Drs and those on TV, like New Amster-damn, pointed out the highest rates of STD/i is among 55+ yr olds - gay and straight - who have multiple partners and unprotected/ unsafe sex frequently. You only have to look online to find hookup, orgies, BB parties etc available almost every night, in big cities, small towns and retirement homes.
  22. Thank you for yet another interesting chapter, looking in on how things are going for young Karl, first in terms of his stint in the RAF as a pilot trainee for the 'Flying Exiles' as foreign pilots were often referred to. Second on his and Arthur's trip 'home' to the Hopkins' family in London for Christmas. Christmas 1941 WWII was still in 'early days' as my British grandfather said, and usually followed with "it just seemed like it had been going on forever". Karl and Arthur are welcomed 'home' but Karl is 'gobsmacked' with George being there. The possibility of a confrontation between the two didn't happen as both seemed to be controlling their feelings. Or at least until Karl went up to 'his' room, only to discover George has followed him. And then the 'floodgates to their souls' opened and their feelings for each other nearly overwhelmed them. Will things stay on an even keel over the holiday? Let's see what happens next. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ
  23. This 'SUBWAY' has more edible meat between their buns.๐Ÿ˜œ Oh you want a comment about this chapter? My bad ROLF. Well written chapter that probes some previously unexplored areas. Goes where no man has gone before (sorry captain, shall I assume the position?) With tongue firmly in cheek, i'll stop now as my train is coming.

43 was so NICE it got posted TWICE. I'm certain it was was a glitch, So I'm not going to *itch So instead I choose to be nice, And blame it on computer mice* * Is more than one computer Mouse hiccup plural, hence 'mice?
