Please let Zeke discover that Tyler is back to cutting, and get Tyler the help he needs.

Preston? Your 'Promotional Teaser says: " Robert attends his graduation celebration, and a day later as he prepares to return to Scotland, he receives and urgent call, and he and Edwin rush back to Scotland. Robert did attend Edwin's graduation and in no stated hurry returned to Scotland, no hint of "urgent call" and Edwin is out jet skiing, uncovering? , but not "rush back to Scotland". Something's out of sync?

Last 'Official' Census numbers have +/- 3% factor. Advocates for Homeless, LGBTQ+, various Children groups, (and other organizations) say that number is likely closer to 10 - 15% not counted. So far in 2020 more than 1.5 Million children go hungry each night. More than 1/2 million homeless and unaccounted for children between 9 - 18.Government does NOT count under 9 assuming "someone should be looking after these children". There isn't an emoji that shows how that makes me feel. More of Jeff's Lotto-inspired philanthropy / food truck / farm will be appreciated.

Hmm, "...70-Foot open speed yacht" with armed Parks and Wildlife researchers? Sounds a little fishy, unless they're dealing with drug smugglers or pirates. Spidey-sense says be wary.

WOW! Merci pour votre petit histoire 'Scary'. It is well written and shows that Karma exists. I look forward to reading more from you. It's sad what is happening again with the attacks in France, so please take care. Alors que la France entre dans un autre blocage Covid-19, les régions de mon Canada aussi. S’il vous plaît restez en sécurité, socialement distant, et portez un masque. Tony

I think I like where this is going. Some ultimate paying it forward (anonymously), and if properly structured a Legacy Trust could fund this, if not indefinitely, then certainly for a generation from income after taxes without depleting capital. I've seen suggestions for this in real life. If it comes to fruition through 'The Giving Trust'.

Chapter 36 – The Times They Are a-Changin’
Anton_Cloche commented on Bill W's story chapter in Chapter 36 – The Times They Are a-Changin’
A wonderful chapter Bill. As I read this chapter at the dawn of a dreary grey November Tuesday morning, waiting for the sun to rise, there's an American Folk Classic Song that I think of when I read Bill's wonderful 'The Castaway Hotel' stories. That song is Bob Dylan's 'And the times they are a changing'. To me it resonates as its lyrics seem to encompass the Currie and Currie-O'Hara families as they continue to grow through change. Together in the good times, the bad times and all the challenges in between. This chapter yet again, speaks of hope, love and family, with the adoption of Xander and TJ. For the times, they are a changing. Thanks again Bill, for reminding us of what's important. Tony -
I used WOW for this wonderful chapter only because I can't also use at the same time. In the last chapter when they talked about 'blood money' I had to remind myself that those amounts in the 1970's might equate to much larger sums in 2020. Despite that Arik and Ethan were able to figure out how to look after the family for now and future generations. This chapter sees them helping Bobby and Eddy discover themselves, and Sam to discover everything, while still planning for themselves. The amount of love Arik and Ethan have continues to grow and is an example for all. As Arik tells us what has happened and is happening in his and Ethan's lives, that it is a summing up of sorts. Although it has to happen at some point, I'd like a chapter to see how Arik's brother and sister - Axle and Trind, as well as Ethan's family reacts to the future plans for them and the family from the combined assets of Arik and Ethan. A chapter to see Arik graduate high school and join Ethan at college. And then, at some point, a separate '10 Years Later - Epilogue. Perhaps with children (although back in the day, adoption by gay couples wasn't an adoption, nor was surrogacy). Will wait to see what you have in store for us. In the meantime, Stay Safe, Socially Distant, and Wear the Mask. Tony

Still time to add post Epilogue (yep they exist), maybe called '5 Years On', with Matt and Donnie and their 3 adopted children (one for each dog), maybe even orphaned children from same family a couple of years apart. Damn did I just write the outline?

Wonderful chapter. Hints of a life to come for our young newlyweds. "Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home".

An interesting story, and chapter. Whether it's "wham bam, thank you Ma'am", or "hitch, pitch stuffed you Mitch", there's a need for knowledge-based information and assistance for first timers. IF they know where to look. That does NOT mean an online search for 'First Time Gay Sex' which results in crap video / porn with young-looking 'first timers' who have more miles on them than airport car rentals. Doesn't matter if you're straight, bi, gay or anywhere in between. There are REAL resources, (like 'Joy of Gay Sex' if first timers can find it in print) on-line forums like 'Gay Sex Ed from Advocate.com, from libraries, clinics etc as long as you don't live in a highly 'restrictive' or 'narrow' area where such things are seen as 'wrong' or where 'family' makes it worse. Not just 'these days' but every day, we all need and could use more understanding, patience, empathy, guidance etc.

Chapter 35 – Another Haunted House
Anton_Cloche commented on Bill W's story chapter in Chapter 35 – Another Haunted House
Thank You, Thank You Bill. Yet again a Spooktacular Halloween show at Castaway Hotel (where all are TRULY welcomed with loving hearts and open, compassionate arms). Even if the Halloween House is there to put a bit of friendly fright into visitors, it also gets a relieved laugh from visitors who survive the horror-deal. (bad play on words). Bill, you've outdone yourself yet again with this wonderful, endearing Halloween event, in a saga / story that keeps getting better. (and hopefully will for years to come. Would that you have an extended 'family' like Josh's to carry on that tradition. -
Chapter 34 – A Problem and Preparations
Anton_Cloche commented on Bill W's story chapter in Chapter 34 – A Problem and Preparations
Another wonderful chapter. I think the way the school has taken care of both situations of bullying and the sexual abuse of Tamara is an example for all to follow. It is unfortunate that the bullying of Xander occurred after the students know how serious the school is about bullying in general. Perhaps it's the age of the students and their inability to see both cases as being harmful Looking forward to seeing how Halloween goes (tonight). -
I'd like to welcome you back to writing and sharing this story. Although we don't yet know what circumstances lead to Seth and his younger sister Lilith being out on their own, I'm sure you'll reveal more in coming chapters. But it does seem that whatever happened, Seth is trying his best but struggling greatly to provide for them as best he can, no doubt putting Lilith's needs ahead of his own. We just have to figure out how Noah fits in. Does he work in the store? Own it? Looking forward to coming chapters. Stay Safe. Socially Distant / Apart, & please #WearTheMask. Tony Ps: So if I recall my (long ago) philosophy classes you 'Demiurge' are a deity? Wow

Professionals have proven that people who have been "hurt, burned, singed, damaged" in their lives, in any way, whether physically, emotionally, spiritually; hold on to these feelings (aka 'carry this baggage') for life. They can harbour these feelings and show no outward signs, or they can let them out on others, consciously or subconsciously, through their actions, thoughts, words and feelings. We see this in Edwin's actions against others (Marc most recently, Lucas before to a lesser extent by being 'cut off'). We see it in Edwin's thoughts about others being after him. These same professionals, learned people all, say (through their studies) that many writers, whether greats such as Shakespeare, Hemingway, Rowling et al, or 'everyday' authors let their personal "feelings" out in the characters they create. Hmm, food for thought? (or as Uni Profs say, "discuss among yourselves").

I think Daniel's Mum has either taken a turn for the worse with her Covid, perhaps a slip and fall, or... OMG she's gone to see Elvis in person.

Hope, Expectations, and the Football Star
Anton_Cloche commented on FlyOnTheWall's story chapter in Hope, Expectations, and the Football Star
Wow! Book 6, hard to imagine but so glad you've kept plugging away, especially during this pandemic. Also glad you're teaching. Look forward to much more TBC. Now to your more important (IMHO) work. Allow me to thank you Geoff, for being part of those groups of very special people around the world taking part in testing vaccines for Covid-19. As I've mentioned to others, (with previous experience on ID* research), potential vaccines have to be multi-tested, to get a proper outcome, before they can be distributed. It will take time. It's not just around the corner. Even with accelerated timetables, it'll be 6-12 months (or more) before we see sufficient vaccine for all who want it. To be un-PC, Bless You. Take care, Stay Safe AND Distant and #WearTheMask. And put your 'paperwork' in THE Box. Tony * Infectious Disease -
Seems Edwin can't catch a break as far as forming, and keeping friendships. Unfortunately his titles have, despite his own declarations to the contrary, giving his ego a bit too much air, and (like main characters in other Quokka books), he does not suffer fools. Nor does he forgive. It's all, cut them off. Edwin needs to learn, IMHO, forgiveness and understanding, otherwise he may end up titled, alone and bitter. Maybe a romantic interlude could help, but given his attitude, it's doomed before it begins. I so had hoped he'd become well rounded.

Sneak Peak at Book Two
Anton_Cloche commented on zanoGreen's story chapter in Sneak Peak at Book Two
For some reason, and even though only part of the lyrics match, every time I read what Gray's thinking about why he and Riley being together won't / can't / shouldn't work, the Stones 'Time, is on my side' keeps playing in my head. But it's Riley singing, not Gray. "Time is on my side, yes it is. Now you always say, That you want to be free. But You'll come running back, to me". https://genius.com/The-rolling-stones-time-is-on-my-side-lyrics Can't wait for Book II and more on R&G back together (once Doc Torres gets his head out of his ass). Doctor heal thyself! -
Wait, you just get to a perfectly good resolution (for most) and leave us with Ry and Ell talking about 'having children'. This is worse than dangling participles or hanging chads. In book 2 could you at least have whomever those characters are, make reference to news that Ryan & Elliott have a new child? Before you re-write this to reflect both Ryan and Elliott POVs, just make it clear when that transition occurs. Many authors muck that up.

I'm torn between different emotions with this chapter. It's generally a good chapter, but from my 'Editor's Eye' POV, there are still more than a few spelling and grammar errors. If they're happening a lot, then it's time to find out how and why. As for the story line, my ideal emoji would be the happy & sad 'theatre' masks. I'm happy Edwin had his family around him to celebrate a traditional Scottish Christmas, especially that his previously vibrant Aunt Bea returned home to Scotland, and her introduction as: "... Lady Beatrice Petworth ..." on arriving at Balcarres Castle. I'm also sad that Edwin recognized that something about Aunty Bea was off, and that he sensed she had come home to die. But I'm glad that when she passed in her sleep after the Christmas party, the "slight smile on her face" (which I've seen on the faces of my family shortly after being found dead), that Bea was not in distress at the end, but was at peace, as if she was being greeted by family and friends as she entered the next place. .

Mauder on the Dance Floor
Anton_Cloche commented on Wombat Bill's story chapter in Mauder on the Dance Floor
Positively shocking chapter. Most problems put to bed. Closing Kevin's social media down (for a while) is a good idea, but he should still alert platform owners about trolls (now that fb, twit, insta and others finally taking some action). Previous possible solution to Kevin's (and family?) concerns about harassment because of Covid name during pandemic, was to say it was a misspelling of Corvid when family emigrated to Oz. Another choice? Simply shuffle letters to spell Divco, then they can 'milk' that for what it's worth. Just don't get all churned up. Butter someone up. Rise to the top (like cream). That's all I've got on a cold dreary Monday, as winter draws nigh and lock downs loom again. Cabin fever 2 Point O_MG. Ps- can't upload pixs -
Good chapter 'Q' but hoped Lucas would be included. Old but good trick to tweak the nose of media & paps. Used something similar over the years. Vanity Reg plates on the Royce would actually have mix of capitol letters & numbers, and look like this: GH05T 1. ttfn

Another well-baked chapter. No 'rotten apple' kids acting up at Billy's 14th birthday party. And Mee-Mee (2) appeared as if by The Family-Plan 'Apple' i-phones are perfect for the new Orchard business connections The Southern BBQ was a treat for all (it's made me hungry). I still sense some conflict coming, between 'friends' competing for Billy's affections, and Sascha trapped playing DL. :-(
