I am pleased that the guys have talked and mended fences, I think that this may come up again with Clay but Mason and him need to talk instead of snapping at each other. I liked the description of Jeremy’s body he sounds like a 🥵 little 🐻

Mason is being a petulant brat at the moment, if he wants his dad to treat him like an adult he has to be one, Clay is being a protective parent which is understandable this is Mason’s first relationship, let alone a relationship with someone who has HIV. Clay has had a lot to deal with in the past few months what with starting a relationship with a guy which in itself is a challenge when he has only been in a relationship with a woman, he has also had to think about his retirement from the police force, selling the family home, moving lock, stock and barrel to another state, hoping that he is doing the right thing by both his son, himself and Greg, and to top it off his new police partner gets shot in the line of duty, heck just the new relationship is a lot to deal with let alone everything else that’s going on. Mason needs to cut his dad some slack and grow up and prove to Clay and Greg he is man enough to make the right decisions about his life and think with his big head, not his little one.

I am loving this story, we need more Camp Refuges and more LGBT accommodation and senior services eg. Nursing homes etc. It’s always interesting to learn new things in a story, it makes it fun

Or he could just give us a bit more in this story?

I liked Jeremy’s set up with the lights etc, it reminds me of some of my gay car club friends who go to various classic car shows in their motor homes, they refer to themselves as Homos in a MoHo. 😂

Great chapter, but what Greg had to endure with the ECT was just horrible, I will never understand how anyone can do that to a person just because of their sexuality, it’s bad enough that it was used as a treatment for mental illness. My mother had mental illness and was treated with ECT to try to cure her, but I don’t know if it ever did help her, as she had reoccurring manic depression over the years, in later life she had severe headaches which was worse than the migraines she had and she was admitted to hospital where they discovered that she had a brain aneurysm, when the doctor went to operate he found 1 really large one and several small aneurysms as they could rupture they decided not to remove them. Which meant that she was taking medication for the rest of her life .

Excellent chapter, but you have confused your spelling of the name Lesley is female, Leslie is the way to spell it for men, and it can be confusing when you have both a male and female Lesley in the room at the same time, we have a family friend called Lesley and one of my uncles is Leslie, so glad we shortened it to Les.

Need longer chapter, and more frequently posted. 😂

A friend of mine had a I am not a lesbian but my girlfriend is t-shirt and she wore while we were watching the 1993 Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras from the balcony of Parkridge Apartments. I had completely forgotten about that t-shirt, I must ask Carol if she remembers it.

A great chapter, but I think that Sandra needs to fess up and tell people that she has MS, you cannot keep that hidden for long and she will end up in a wheelchair, people are going to be upset with her that they didn’t know about this earlier, it will take a lot for her to swallow her pride.

The people who are wearing disposable gloves all day make me laugh, but what annoys me is they end up on the pavement or roads as litter because people just drop them anywhere and don’t put them in the trash can, people are gross
