I am glad that Chandons mom took Brayon in, I can never understand why parents throw their kids out for being gay, more of these parents should be charged with child abuse and abandonment.

I have to agree with you on that comment Okiegrad I did find it strange that Angela would sign over her child to Gres, but I guess him looking after Tom is better for the boy than going in to foster care, due to his age I doubt that he would have been fostered easily.

A great short story, I was hoping for more chapters about these guys but I will have to be content with them in the 3rd book of the Tampa Chronicles. Is this story based on you life?

Another great chapter, I am sorry to see it come to and end, I am happy that everything worked out for Rob and Adam and hopefully the Turners will spend a long time in jail. I will keep an eye out for Tampa Chronicles. -

Two I my favourite lines in this chapter was when Vic told Greenley to get his principal ass over here. Hayden said if Vic did not move on after he died that he would come back and haunt him, till he did move on. Funnily enough I have said that to my husband as there is a 14 year age gap between us, although hopefully when I die I will be in my late 90s and he will be in his early eighties so he may not want to do that, but who knows what will happen. Thanks Geoff , I have really enjoyed the 3 books and I am looking forward to the next one. -
I am looking forward to the next chapter of this story. I don’t know anything about the Kokoda Trail, so I am finding this very interesting. Poor Gres with that idiot family of his and blaming him for the death of his Great Uncle, he is lucky that he meet the barrister on the train who can vouch for him being there.

This is an interesting twist to the story with Angela becoming sick and asking Gres to become her son’s guardian. does the title of the book Deception refer to Gres’s family or Tom’s family?

I think that there are a lot of questions that need to be answered about the incident with the regards to the priest and his church, surely if Pat’s parents where members of his congregation he would have known that they had two kids and there should have been an investigation as to what happened to Pat if his body was not in the car at the time of the accident. Hopefully Theo can find out more information.

It could have been worse, if his parents were Jehovah’s Witness they don’t celebrate Xmas or birthdays so there are no presents, how could someone do that to a child is beyond me, people and their damn cults

I liked the reference about the group of guys in the pub to a group of chimpanzees in an African rainforest, I thought that was very funny. i reread the line as though it was David Attenborough talking. -

I feel bad for both Hayden and Vic, they were just starting their lives together. I hope that Hayden’s parents do the right thing and are at his funeral and also that they don’t cause problems. -
I have seen both versions of the show and I much preferred the US/Canadian version of Queer as Folk

I am happy that Hunter and Perry had a visit from Jamie and the both are of an open mind to take the advice he gave them. awesome chapter.
