Epilogue - Chapter 10-Final Chapter
spyke commented on Mark Arbour's story chapter in Epilogue - Chapter 10-Final Chapter
Exactly. Those two are going to be in for a rude awakening if they think that Stef is an easy target. He'll shred them and turn them into fish food for the bay. What a great twist having Jake stand up and steal the show from Brad. It puts Brad on notice that he does't get to control everything. Perhaps @Mark Arbour will turn Brad into a bit of a Bridezilla for the upcoming nuptials. LOL. I can't wait for the next book. Thanks again Mark!- 26 comments

Once again our man George to the rescue! I wonder what Daventry had in mind for a plan to overthrow the Tsar before George arrived. He would have most certainly faced death. George now has his work cut out for him to try and win over the Tsar. He is also going to have to deal with that horrible green eyed monster that has reared it's ugly head in von Beckendorf. Somehow I'm envisioning our George arranging a 3 way to tame that beast. LOL. Thanks for another great chaper @Mark Arbour. Your talent is simply amazing!

That is just too funny. The Google maps car driving through while they're trying to take wedding photos! 🤣 The photographer did not look amused. Thanks so much @pickuptoy! I needed that giggle today. https://www.google.com/maps/@59.8856655,30.2654549,3a,75y,37.98h,79.21t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sDDr2SCYwOJCX1RjsxkxfaA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

I'm sorry that you had to go through that, but it's great news that he didn't have a heart attack. I'm going to preach here for just a second--ALWAYS go to the ER when there's chest pain. Don't waste any time at an urgent care center. Now that I've said that, has he ever been checked for gallbladder problems? Sometimes the pain lodges in your shoulder blades and it can feel like sharp chest pains. Been there, done that. Wound up having a catheterization that showed a minor 20 % blockage. I'm really glad that I didn't have a heart attack and that the Dr. was able to make his boat, car, and house payment for that month. 🤣 They concluded that it was a gall bladder flare up. Take care of your self @kbois and get some rest. Hope that the hubs will be OK. 🤞

What's logic got to do with it? LOL

Doing good here. Just busy with work and dealing with people who haven't received the proper training. It gets frustrating at times.
-
Or maybe he just said that to throw everyone off his trail. He could always fake the results. Remember who's writing this story. Anything is possible. LOL.
-
Awwww, are you sure? You have to admit that it would be hilarious when he realizes that he's turned into a kinky version his father. LOL. No, in all seriousness, TC is TC and that's not going to change. If you went that route it would be totally false to the character and it would do a big disservice to the story.
-
Thank you for saying this! I've been trying to figure out what bothers me about TC and you've just hit the nail on the head. I understand that he had little to no say about his life when he was younger and that he has the need to control things, but one would think he wouldn't want to mimic his father's controlling obsession 24/7 with a partner. Maybe he needs to explore a little deeper with his therapist. 🤷♂️

@Fae Briona I'm sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. You have my sympathies. It's not easy losing your mother at any age. Take care of yourself and remember that it's OK to be selfish during your time of grief.
-
God, I just love her. She takes no prisoners. And then there's Owen lightening the mood up. LOL. I'm enjoying how David and TC are moving things slowly and taking the time for all three of them to get to know each other. Great chapter @kbois!

It is always better to divest yourself from these sorts of people long before the possibility of belief can approach reality. I've come to realize these people project their own insecurities and lack of self worth onto others as a means of validating their perceived importance in the world. It's always better to remain silent and simply walk away while they are in mid sentence. It drives those types bonkers when you don't engage. Always remember you are enough.

Thanks so much for the hint @Reader1810! Hope you have a great day.

The Awakening Of Edward Hastings
spyke commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in The Awakening Of Edward Hastings
Why do I get the feeling that Edward and Brown "know" each other more than what we're being led to believe? More please! -
Because they insist on stretching out or getting right up next to you to get warm and comfy. Then we get hot and move away from them, but they move right back near us. Oh and nothing says love more than bony paws to your kidneys when they want to stretch. I used to have a Yorkie and she'd run me out of a queen size bed. Dang those small paws hurt! LOL 🐕
-
I'm sorry that happened to you. You seem to have good rules in place about lending and paying back. It is that person who has lost by trying to take advantage of you. People get nasty when they are wrong or they are trying to continue the con. Please don't let that shut you off from the world and stop you from trying to help someone else. You never know when that one small act of kindness can change another person's life forever.
-
Thank YOU! I can't wait to try it.....both ways!
-
O.K. If you're going to throw something like this out, a recipe or link is required! LOL. Seriously @mollyhousemouse any help would be appreciated!

My grandmother was 100% Italian and she wouldn't make it. She wouldn't make polenta either. Both are a PITA and your arms want to fall off from all that stirring. I leave those two dishes to the restaurants. 😉

TC might get a little miffed at that. Someone stepping into his Lyssa territory might cause a bit of jealousy. 🤣
-
Have you tried Krud Kutter? Don't know if you're in the US, but you can find it at Lowe's home improvement.
-
Hey Rick- Doing good here. It was a tough day at work. My boss tried to lob a big sack of you know what in my direction, but I threw it right back at him. I'm not taking the heat for his blunders. It's warm and sunny here. Hope you're doing well.
-
WHEW!!! Thank goodness Sinclair said yes! I think that TC and David have gained a lot of knowledge about what not to do, so hopefully this new relationship will work. But first David needs to make a call across the pond to see if this will be Dr. Charlotte approved. LOL Speaking of approval, Sin has to pass the Lyssa test, but I don't think that will be a problem. Great chapter @kbois!!

No slow burn here! You went from 0-60 in like 5 seconds. LOL. I can't wait to find out what Lucas reveals in his one-on-one session. I'm really enjoying this story.

But that is the difference. You did a pm and kept things private. If that author had such an inflamed ego that your help was turned down, then it's his/her loss as well as the readers loss. The one I'm talking about goes after one author in public time and time again. He offers nothing but grammar and typo criticism in the comments. He never makes any comment about the substance of the story and he's never made any meaningful comments on any authors story. I tip my hat off to anyone who offers to help with editing. I can only imagine that it's a difficult job to undertake and probably a thankless job for many. Thank you for your insight @Kitt.
