  1. That is a shame that things didn't work out, rick. I hate that you had to make that decision. Different people have different priorities and beliefs during this pandemic. Like you, my priority is keeping myself safe. This pandemic just SUCKS, but we will get through it by being thoughtful, and exercising caution and common sense. There's such a big disconnect between people due to the misinformation and politicization that has run rampant throughout this pandemic--it's no wonder why we are all on different pages. Stay strong and safe rick. Above all else, do what's best for you and take care of yourself.

    I’m Not Okay

Laura does an amazing job with her characters @johnnyboy2285. So good in fact I think I now have blue balls for my poor Mike! LOL. Please hurry up with that steamy hot one @Laura S. Fox and let's get Mike laid! LOL
  3. Swamps and gators 10 minutes from me. I win. LOL Years ago, they caught a 8 ft. gator sunning himself in the middle of the intersection in the town just 15 minutes up the road from me. People talked about that for months. Gotta love small towns.
  4. Unfortunately in these days and times, it's best for the clerk to remain silent lest they risk a physical attack by a crazed customer, or verbal abuse from a Karen. It's sad that people have become so self centered and inconsiderate of others. I've always thought that it would be great if businesses could install a trap door that a clerk could trigger and send an obnoxious customer down to the basement. LOL
  5. Swamps and alligators in my neck of the woods, so mother nature takes care of those things all the time. And I'm not in Florida or Louisiana either. LOL
  6. They sell them in extra large sizes so you can make this: https://wishesndishes.com/creamy-pecan-crunch-grape-salad/ It's particularly good in the hot summer months, and a crowd will tear through it in no time! I'm sorry @Mikiesboy, but it's not for @MichaelS36 unless you can work your magic and make some substitutions. Then again, I'm sure that you'd be up for the challenge. 👨‍🍳 😊
  7. @Mikiesboy, echoing what @kbois and others have said, I too am sorry you had such a crappy experience. There's just no excuse for that especially during this pandemic. We've all had horrid experiences at the dentist that makes us even more nervous to go to for dental care. Shame on them for putting you through that and for allowing patients to remove their masks in public areas. I hit the jackpot with both my dentist and periodontist. Just had a perio appointment the other day and they had protocols in place and they were followed. One of the things that getting older has taught me is that I don't have to settle for shit medical care from mediocre providers. I'd go to the next appointment, but I'd be looking for a new dentist after that. Go with your gut and what is best for you.
  8. One of the great things about this forum is that I learn something new almost every time I visit the DiC. I'm sorry you're depleted molly. Take it easy and thank you for teaching me about spoons. I like that saying!
  9. I'm glad that you're feeling better, Rick. Hope you have a great weekend and continue to feel better and better.

    Chapter 19

Yep, @kbois went there with the DP. She's totally fearless when it comes to writing. LOL. But in all seriousness, it is a great chapter, and it's obvious that a lot of thought went into crafting this chapter and the entire story.

    Chapter 19

TC may have shown physical restraint about dealing with Sin's father, but I'm betting that by the time TC gets through with him, he's going to wish TC had beat his ass. Dr. Ng is amazing and the way that David and TC handled the therapy session and afterwards was spot on. I was worried about Sin, but after this, those worries are gone. This was a great chapter. BTW, we are going to get a visit from Dr. Charlotte in the last chapter, right @kbois?? LOL
  12. That run on "C" cell sized batteries, because NOBODY keeps those in their kitchen drawer, so someone will have to go to the store. LOL
  13. So well said @kbois. I think that people often confuse acquaintances for friends. I've always felt that if I could count my friends on one hand, I was doing good. So then you would be known as Uncle Scary? No , just no @Wayne Gray. LOL You must supplement the sugar with generous amounts of caffeinated soft drinks for the full effect and to maximize irritation to your sibling(s).

    Chapter 18

I think that TC would be the perfect one to open up that can of whoop ass. How about it @kbois???
  15. I'm sorry to hear that you and your family have been displaced because of the wild fires @Mrsgnomie. Sending good thoughts your way. This has just been a sh***y year for everyone. No one is going to mourn 2020's passing. Take care of yourself and your family and stay safe.
  16. Good morning to all! I hope that everyone has a great day today. You all need to stop talking about food. You're making me hongreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I guess if you can do pizza for breakfast, there's nothing wrong with spaghetti for breakfast. LOL
  17. I think I am going to appropriate this eloquent saying. I just love it.
  18. Take care of yourself and your husband, Chris. I've got my fingers crossed that the test comes back negative.
  19. Many of us were having the exact thought about you. Please stay strong and take care of yourself. Me personally--I'm O.K.

    Chapter 7

Well @Buz, sometimes too much hookah could possibly lead to a hooker. Just sayin'. LOL
  21. If somehow, accidentally, not on purpose, the power cord gets snatched out of the wall, it takes a good 10 minutes to come back up on line. Same principle applies to a router. 🤣 Oh, the problems with technology these days! 😉
  22. So far...........🤞, but things can turn on a dime and then all Hades breaks loose! Hope yours is and remains peaceful @Starrynight22

    Chapter 1

Have family in the area. It's too cold in the winter time up there for me, and I hate shoveling snow! Clean, crisp air aside, I'll keep the rare 1 inch snowfall that closes everything down here in the south. LOL

    Chapter 1

I like how this story is beginning. It's obvious that you've done your research about the area. Not many folks know about Greentree or Pittsburgh National Bank (now PNC). I think that Clarion is a great setting and offers many possibilities given the collegiate influence on the town.
  25. @MichaelS36 Hope you have a terrific birthday!
